Philippians 3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

Hebrews 11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Revelation 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Revelation 21:5 And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Revelation 21:6 And He said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things and I will be his God, and he shall be My son.

Hello, and Please do not rush.  I was just having fun yesterday thank God you enjoyed it.  It's kinda a touchy thing to go for the humor.  People are serious about their faith and sometimes it is hard to read.  I have been really really wrong in my discernment before and I have a couple subjects I have lost all sense of humor on and should probably stay away from.  Anyhow no hurry, I am getting lots done today and just stopping in for quick checks also.  Have a good day   d

OK. You will admit that not one of those scriptures plainly says that men go to heaven when they die. And not one says that man's destiny is heaven. To make all those verses work in your favor, you have to have the PREMISE that dead men go to heaven, and then say that the verse supports this. But if you were a Buddhist reading those verses you would not come to that conclusion. But I will answer.

Your main evidence is threefold:

  1. When one dies one goes to be with the Lord
  2. The Kingdom and the City that Abraham searched for was "heavenly"
  3. John 14 - the father's House

+. In my postings I preempted point#1. Psalm 139:7-8 says

7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in Sheol (Hades), behold, thou art there.

Christ is BODILY in heaven sitting at the right hand of His father in His Father's throne. But we all know that (i) when you die your body quickly starts to rot and must be buried or burned, and (ii) from police records, exhumation is common and the persons rotten body is still in the grave years later. So you can't be bodily with the Lord. For that you need resurrection and rapture to God's Throne. And that happens ONLY WHEN HE COMES (1st Cor.15:23).

But in life the Lord is WITH you and IN you. But it is His Spirit. If you want to continue your relationship with the Lord that you have now, your soul can be in Hades and He will be there. Bodily UNION is not given but His spirit and your soul can remain knit in Hades.

2. A things is heavenly when (i) it is made in heaven, or (ii) it is heavenly in nature. Daniel, the great prophet to the Nations, says that Christ's Kingdom will "fill the EARTH" (Dan.2:34-35). It is rendered, in the New Testament, as The Kingdom (OUT) of Heaven. It is NEVER "the Kingdom IN Heaven". Our Lord prayed; "Thy (God's) Kingdom COME ... ." Our Lord was standing on EARTH when He said this. And He further prayed; "THY (God's) will be done in the same way ON EARTH as it is already done in heaven".

The City that Abraham looked for was "heavenly". That does not mean that the City is in heaven. "Heavenly" means it has its ORIGIN and NATURE from heaven. And we see that when this City comes it "Comes down to earth" (Rev.21:2). And it stay there because some of the "Nations", who are neither Walls nor Gates, are allowed in.

3. The Father's House is the subject of John's gospel. In Chapter 1, the introductory passage is how God gets BETHEL (v.51). Seven things are needed to reachBEHEL; which means "the House of God". John Chapter 2 introduces the New House of God - the Body of Christ. Chapter 14 informs us how the House of God has its may "abodes" occupied. The House of God is NEVER heaven in the whole Bible. God might dwell there and it might be His Throne, but His great desire with men is to have a House ON EARTH. The House of God is defined as (i) the Tabernacle of the wilderness, (ii) Solomon's Temple, (iii) Zerubbabel's Temple, (iv) Christ's Body, and (v) the Church.

John 14 reports HOW Jesus "prepares" the many abodes in His Father's House for occupancy - by the disciples. Why did there have to be a preparation? Because men are sinners and that obstacle must be removed. Our Lord Jesus foretold, in John 14, that He must go away from the disciples, go to God, AND RETURN, so that "where He IS (at that moment of speaking), the disciples may be IN THAT DAY of His return. Where was Jesus as He spoke these words? Verse 10 says that He was IN the Father and the Father IN Him! And then, in verse 20, He tells the disciples where they will be "in that day" of His RETURN - IN Christ and Christ IN them and them all IN God!

This is exactly what He then did. He went to His death for sins. He went to Hades for three days and nights and on the morning of His resurrection He says to Mary that he has NOT YET been to His Father and that there fire she should not touch Him. He further tells Mary that she should go to the disciples and tell them that He now GOES TO THE FATHER and that this Father is now THEIR FATHER TOO. That night, after presenting His blood in the Holy of Holies in heaven and been accepted by the Father, He returns to his disciples and says (i) touch me, meaning He had been to the Father, and (ii) BREATHED the Holy Spirit INTO His disciples. At that moment, on that day, as John 14:20 predicted, Christ was IN them, they were IN Christ and all were IN God. Since Christ and the Holy Spirit were IN them they had become the many ABODES in "THE HOUSE OF GOD". BETHEL was achieved!!!

John 14 is not about going to heaven. That is a gross misrepresentation of the wording, the grammar and the outcome. John 14 is about Jesus going away from His disciples to prepare the way for disciples to be abodes in the House of God - the Church (1st Tim.3:15).

You see sister, the Lord predicted in Matthew 13 that woman would leaven three lumps, and that this would "leaven the whole lump". And this was a "mystery of the Kingdom". The Woman is Mystery Babylon. The three "indicates" resurrection. The lumps of bread are the Church - the many grains of John 12:24. The leaven is false doctrine. And the "whole" got leavened! John 14 has been "leavened" and the whole of the Church believes the Roman myth of heaven. There is no going to heaven as dead men, and there is no destiny in heaven. Man was made OF the earth, FOR the earth, to eat "heavenly bread" (Christ) so that he could rule the EARTH in a heavenly way - the Kingdom (out) OF Heaven, and be God's heavenly House ON EARTH. The New Jerusalem, heavenly in rigin and content, comes FROM heaven, to the New EARTH -but is the TABERNACLE OF GOD - God's House

I think that if you go back and read the verses you posted, you will find not one plainly says we go to heaven at death, not one says that heaven is our destiny, not one says that man is made for heaven, and that John 14 has its fulfillment in Christ going away for 3 days and 3 nights to settle matter of sin and sins, RETURNS and breathes God into His disciples so that they become the many abodes in the Father's Hosue - the Church.

I've always believed that one of the best things about being a Christian was not suffering in the grave but going immediately to be with the Lord, where He is.  Nice resting place until we return to work the Lords Day with Him.

Some how after the graves were opened they got shut again.  By whom and when I have no clue.  Wasn't the 'law of sin and death' done away with because IT COULD NOT FORGIVE?  Why would being 'forgiven' even matter at death if nothing but death happened until Christ returned.  And I can't figure out why when leaving the earth body to go to heaven the 'heaven' body needs to be mentioned?  Every seed has a body.  I never even gave that a second thought either.  So many things that seem so very simple have become confusing while the confusing or hard to figure out things don't ever seem to be discussed.  So,  here are some more

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent  52 And the graves were opened and many bodies of the saints which slept arose  53 And CAME OUT OF THE GRAVES AFTER HIS RESURRECTION , and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Why? to PROVE TO THE UNBELIEVERS THAT CHRIST HAD INDEED ENDED THE BONDAGE TO DEATH FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN HIM. No longer did anyone who received the GIFT OF SALVATION need to fear the death of the flesh.  We are made ONE with Christ.  If the grave can't hold Christ, the grave cant hold us.  The law of death was changed.  As everyone could see.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death unto life.

The Lord intimately shares His gift of life with people, creating each in His image which gives all the capacity to know His eternal life.

2288 thánatos (derived from 2348 /thnḗskō, "to die") – physical or spiritual death; (figuratively) separation from the life (salvation) of God forever by dying without first experiencing death to self to receive His gift of salvation.

Truly truly I say to you that the [one] the word of Me hearing and believing the {One] having sent Me he has life eternal and into judgment not comes but has passed out of death into life

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God and they that hear shall live  26 For as the Father hath life in Himself; so hath He given to the Son to have life in Himself  27 And hath given Him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man  28 Marvel not at this for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice  29 And shall come forth they that have done good unto the resurrection of life and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of damnation.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits OF THEM THAT SLEPT   21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

IF 'them that slept' DIDN'T IMMEDIATELY follow in resurrection, this would BE A LIE.  He wouldn't have been the first fruits of them THAT SLEPT but the first fruits OF ALL WHO WOULD EVER SLEEP.

1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

Do we believe that JESUS died and rose? If so, we best believe they did too!!!
Do we believe on THE LORDS DAY that Satan/death will have ANY PART IN HIS REIGN?

 How did the prophecies go?

Isaiah 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. 8 He will swallow up death in victory and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

26:19 Thy dead men shall live, TOGETHER WITH MY DEAD BODY SHALL THEY ARISE  Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.  20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.  21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Hosea 13:11 I gave thee a king in mine anger, and took him away in my wrath.  12 The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid  13 The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children  14 I will ransom them from the power of the grave I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes 15 Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels  16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

Knowledge of the heavens rolling up like a scroll and those blinded heirs to the promise explains this taking place at a different  time still similar in action

Daniel 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

So far this seems to be working out

Before Christ PERFECT under the law not held in grave, all the rest were.  All the nations held in grave
After Christ PERFECT through faith not held in grave, all the rest are.  All the nations remain held in grave.
When Christ returns a few of those who died during the great tribulation and some of those held in graves rise
Some to join their brethren, some rise remaining 'spiritually' dead till the final exam

You forget Lazuras, as he was in resurrected as the saints will be, from the grave, and we know Who brought him forth.

SUBJECT  Where is Christ going? and can we follow?

John 13:36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
CAN PETER GO? Yes, HE IS GOING TO FOLLOW.

37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow Thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

PETER WANTS FOLLOW THE LEADER.

38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

PETER CAN'T EVEN STAND UP FOR HIS BELIEFS

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.

CHRIST KNOWS US, DON'T WORRY

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I goto prepare a place for you.

My work is about to end. You go finish your work and when you do, I will be there to meet you and WE WILL HANG OUT FOR A WHILE

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

IT IS GONNA BE HEAVEN!!

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

WHERE IS HE GOING?  HOW are WE to KNOW THE WAY,  SO WE CAN FOLLOW HIM?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

He is going to the Father. He will bring US TO THE FATHER.

What do we immediately notice?

Nothing about 'a last day'.
NOTHING about coming to earth at.

Nothing about a group.
Nothing about hades/hell/the grave
NOTHING ABOUT SLEEPING
NOTHING ABOUT RULING
NOTHING BUT WHERE CHRIST IS GOING AND HOW WE WILL FOLLOW HIM  THERE.

HOW and WHEN DO WE GO BACK TO EARTH?

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God...

I have given you answers to the questions you have asked though you don't like them so now I wish for you to do the same for me.

When did the graves get closed and by whom?

How are you placing a time upon John 13-14?

PLEASE SHOW WHERE THIS IS ABOUT A 'LAST DAY' FOR RESURRECTION.

Titus 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,

Titus 2:8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

Titus 2:9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;

Titus 2:10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

NOTHING MENTIONED ABOUT A LAST DAY FOR THE WORLD, BUT ABOUT HOW CHRIST WHO DIED FOR US TO REDEEM US FROM all INIQUITY, AND PURIFY UNTO HIMSELF

THAT IS OUR BLESSED HOPE.  TO GO BE WITH THE LORD WHERE HE IS AND TO RETURN WITH HIM WHEN HE DOES, AND TO RULE AND REIGN WITH HIM FOR HIS DAY

NOTHING MENTIONED AGAIN ABOUT A LAST DAY RESURRECTION

NOR HERE

John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

John 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

John 2:25 And this is the promise that He hath promised us, even eternal life.

John 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

NO MENTION OF THE LAST DAY, NO MENTION OF THE CHURCH, NO MENTION OF CHRIST COMING UNTO ALL, JUST YOU

PROBABLY COULD TRY AND MAKE THIS SAY IT IS BUT THAT TAKES SOME WORK

You forget Lazuras, as he was in resurrected as the saints will be, from the grave, and we know Who brought him forth.

Where is it written that that is the example of what will happen to the saints?

Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

One went directly to heaven NEVER WENT INTO THE GRAVE  the OTHER WAS BURIED.

WHAT do you think this parable is about?

Because THIS is about Jesus RAISING FROM THE DEAD WAY WAY WAY BEFORE A LAST DAY RESURRECTION.

John 11:40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

John 11:41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

John 11:42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

John 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

John 11:44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

AND THE NEXT TIME HE IS CARRIED BY ANGELS NO GRAVE.  BECAUSE JESUS TOOK AWAY THE POWER OF DEATH BY TAKING AWAY THE SIN THAT GIVES DEATH THE POWER IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Imho Lazarus was resurrected because he was not yet in heaven

Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the

2Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.
9 Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

NOT A 'LAST DAY' FOR THE AGE, BUT FOR HIM PERSONALLY AND US

2 Corinthians 4:14 Knowing that He which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

ABSENT FROM THE FLESH BODY AND PRESENT IN THE SPIRITUAL ONE.  ABSENT FROM THE SEEN BODY AND PRESENT IN THE UNSEEN ONE

Colossians 1:4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Psalm 73:23 Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
