Since I became a believer I can definitely say I have never been angry at God.

I don't understand that at all. We cannot question God - how could we dare?

The biggest mystery to me  are those who blame or question God for why their loved ones suffer or die. Most absurd are non- believers who do this. They are enraged at a God whom they don't even acknowledge exists. Or those who refuse to believe in a God who allows suffering and death.  It defies all logic. Do they suppose we are entitled to live life free of disease and live forever?

The fact is it is none of our business how long our allotted timespan is. It is how we deal with it that matters. Praying is our part. Doing God's will and thanking Him for what we are blessed with is our part. Not questioning and demanding and raging against bereavement, which after all,  affects every human being.

I haven't been angry. Occasionally frustrated due to my own ignorance might be a better explanation for those feelings sometimes.

God already knows of those feelings, so me venting to Him is no surprise.

I have a friend who's wife will not set foot in a church because her 25 year old son was killed in a car accident and she blames God for it. They haven't attended church in years.

I believe it's ok to be transparent with God in a respectful way.

Did God allow the car accident? I don't believe there are any unplanned consequences with God. So how do we deal with it? God surely allowed it to happen for His own often unseen purposes. He also had to know the mother would respond in that way, yet He still allowed it to happen. I often wonder why He allowed my 3 year old sister to die due to an injury received when a swing hit her in the temple. I will probably never know why I grew up without a big sister. I don't blame God.I trust in His divine providence. This is very difficult for some people to do who loose loved ones early in life.

Some people are so angry at God that they don't come back but they were not true believers to begin with. We have to trust God and know that He has a reason for everything that He does.

I completely agree with this. Feeling hurt or sad comes more naturally to me than anger. Jonah was pretty transparent about how he felt about Nineveh but ultimately fell in line with God's will. It ended with a lesson that still speaks to many to this day.

It depends on who is being angry, asylum say for the non christian to be angry at God is hypocrisy.

But for Christians, it is often a reaction to sudden loss.

This is a natural reaction and it is hypocrisy  to smile and pretend that nothing is wrong when inside one is screaming  in outrage at what is or hashappened.

Remember via 4he Spirit living in us God knows when we are angry at him for what's  happened, so it is only honesty to be open with God about our feelings.

Pretense profits no one, for lying lips are an abomination to the Lord. Honesty pleases God for the forthright are His delight. This is the lesson of Cain's example, then, who not only killed his brother but lied to the Lord when given the opportunity to confess of his deed. The Lord surely knew what Cain had done.

Remember this, my friend: we are no better than our fellow man. There is much we do not understand, being men and women, and unless the Lord sees fit to reveal the hidden things to us, we remain ignorant of such things. We are neither perfect nor are we God who knows all things.

Peter "dared" to rebuke the Lord after He revealed what would come to pass and while our elder brother was scolded for this, he remained one of the twelve and an apostle of Christ. What was the basis of Peter's rebuke?

He didn't understand. Based upon what you have shared with us, there are things you don't understand either. Who among us grasps the depth and breadth of God's love?

How would you know who was a true believer or wasn’t?.....only God knows who his children are...we certainly don’t.

What do you mean, some people get so angry with God, that they don’t come back, how would you know if they came back  or not?...

You are right only God knows the heart. But if we are around a person long enough we can tell by their actions if their heart is really with God by the fruit of the spirit they are living by. Also their character, integrity, morals and values will tell where their heart is. I have spoken to some people who at one time lived a Christian life and then they had a terrible tragedy in their life and they are angry at God and blame Him for what has happened in their life. They then distance themselves from God.

This is one of those things that has to be addressed internally. No amount of external coaxing will work. If you are hiccupping and I say ,"now stop that" you'll only hiccup more.

Above all loss hurts. It hurts deep. Any kind of loss be it death, an unwanted divorce, alienation from those who we liked and thought to be our true friends. Any loss suffered deeply is one of the most intense spiritual pains a person can have. Years later simply thinking about it causes that hurt to resurface. It's an unseen handicap in some people. There is nothing to compare it to. No way to describe just how bad it is if one has not experienced it.

Many people don't know what to do with these emotions or how to think in ways that will positively pull them out of the abyss. It can be a daily struggle, even years later.

These emotions get misdirected in an effort for some kind of relief. Unfortunately sometimes people look for someone or something to maybe make some sense of it. Take a prisoner who is on death row for murder. A parent of the victim thinks, " If I could only sit in on the execution my pain would be relieved". While justice is a good thing it seldom brings relief. Looking at an execution only perpetuates an internal hostility that will never be quenched because we can't bring them back.

Misery blames

Relief forgives.

Jesus is our example.

Our present world can be described in a few simple sentences. Satan is the ruler of it and sin is the main ingredient.

Death is the result of sin and can't be avoided.

We don't live for this world. We live for the next.

Deep wounds take time and understanding to heal. It often isn't a sudden change. Healing can eventually happen through God's power.

People have started to put up these signs in my area that say- YOU ARE ENOUGH

Biggest lie ever. No man or woman is an island. You will come up short every time.

-Tim

Not knowing Him and His will as in His word will have a great impact in this life. Knowing its OK to get mad and you can get mad at God..haha its really ok trust me He can take it. We live in a fallen world and are so clueless to so many things.. He understands the emotion's  tears and fears and anger. Life knowing Him and His will as in His word that we are promised 70 years and thats man in general.

Forgive me op you don't know or understand what your saying for He does not hide it from us.. again knowing Him and His word.. anyway. Its us that hide things from God not telling Him how we really feel. As long as we do that.. so many times we hear nothing back. HAHA again He can take it. He knows we don't see everything know everything.. yet if we just ask.. He will tell you. Whats He going to say no?

I used to be like you and think that because of their actions or behaviour, how could they be born again, also thinking where is their fruit.

Well let me tell you this, God showed me what I was like at one time after becoming born again, that is when you become his child, he then starts to work in your heart, we are given a new heart, that doesn’t make it all sweet and kindness straight away, God works in the heart of his child.

i was a bitter and nasty person for many years, I was still born again, ...as I slowly started to trust and submit to God, he dug that root of bitterness out, it was a very long journey, but in his perfection he showed me everything about this bitterness it’s source and why I became so bitter.

i hope and  pray that I will never again judge someone by their fruit, I have no right too, plus I want to be right with God,🙏

Im very careful now, I don’t want to be a hypocrite, because my root of bitterness was dealt with by the Lord!!..

No one knows who is born again, only God knows that....and even now , I have my moments, yet God in his mercy knows my heart and saved me ,must be over 30 years now....

Gods Love is true Love and he’s always working in his children to make them more like Jesus....we will never be perfect on this earth.

Only Jesus is the perfect one.🙏

You are taking this too personal and are on the defense.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
