PS

I don't know if you've ever heard of the Samson option but it appears that is what is taking place at the time of the end. It just appears that the King of the north is performing the Samson option in the middle east insted of Israel itself, for some reason.

I have heard of that, and also the Ezekiel option which is pretty much described in Ezekiel.....     I think it depends on whether people are trying to look at Daniel, or Ezekiel and Revelation.   Revelation is more of what's happening on the spiritual side of things.

Kings of the North and Kings of the South is a little too vague for me.   Who is the king of the north and who is the king of the south and why are they messing with Israel today.

What I'm saying now is not scripture but is what I believe.

I believe the king of the north is the US. And the king of the south is Iraq. (Assyria).

I believe the US in the chapter is an ally of Israel who has an agreement with Israel and gives Israel a military to help defend itself much like the US has troops stationed in other countries. 35 thousand in Germany or 56 thousand in Japan. 25 thousand in South Korea.

At the time of the end the king of the south and from what I understand 9 other Muslim countries attack our armed forces in Israel and overwhelm them and kill them. From what I've read in other books such as revelation, zech, they attempt to kill all the Jews in Israel.

It appears the United States responds using nuclear weapons wiping out all of the promised land from the euphrates to the Nile.

It appears Christ comes during this time of great tribulation and the saints of Israel are raised from the dead and those saints inherit all of he promised land forever.

I havnt read where the north would be destroyed. Only that the north would destroy that area.

It's my understanding when those Muslim countries attack Israel, it's God himself that deals with them and destroys their armies.

It's much like this verse where God says he will make Egypt desolate and that no one will be able to set foot in egypt for 40 years.

https://biblehub.com/ezekiel/29-12.htm

Now even though God said he would do it and I believe he causes it just by saying so, I also see where Egypt is destroyed by the king of he North at the time of the great tribulation in daniel.

https://biblehub.com/daniel/11-42.htm

Personally, I don't believe God has to physicly do something to make it happen. I believe he can say it and it will be done.

Now compare this verse speaking of the king of the north gaining Egypts riches in Daniel 11:43. With Ezekiel 29:19.

https://biblehub.com/daniel/11-43.htm

https://biblehub.com/ezekiel/29-19.htm

This is in the same chapter that God said he would make Egypt desolate.

Just my 2 cents here. I believe the radiation from US nukes is why no one will live in egypt those 40 years.

Right; this is what the Bible Prophecies say;

Go to the Attack now: Elam, Aram and Kir!

The Lord is actually encouraging Iran and its allies to attack Israel. It’s a bit like Clint Eastwood saying: “C’mon; make my day”!  [Elam & Media = Iran, Aram = Syria and Lebanon, Kir = Arabia.]

Isaiah 21:2-7  I see the future: The betrayer will betray and the spoiler will spoil. Advance Elam, up Media, to the attack! Do not hesitate, make your move!    I am seized by pain, trembling in fear, horrified by what I hear, aghast by what I see.  The leaders and generals sit down to eat and drink – Get up now!  It’s time to prepare your weapons and post a lookout. He must be fully alert to warn us if he sees columns of mounted troops advancing.

Isaiah 22:5-6 For the Lord has ordained a Day of disaster, a Day of panic and cries for help in the valleys and mountains. Elam prepares the main weapon of its might, the armored troops of Aram are readied and Kir readies its defense's.

Isaiah 21:1 & 8-10 The lookout calls: it comes - A mighty blast sweeps up from the south, from a place of terror.  A voice calls: ”fallen is the wicked land, her gods are shattered”   My people are like threshed grain on the threshing floor. From the God of Israel, I have told you.

Isaiah 22:1-5 Tell me, what is amiss with you? Why have you climbed up onto the roof?  Why do you panic and run out of your houses? Your city is in an uproar, those fallen have not been killed by the sword in battle. All your commanders have fled, the bravest soldiers have gone in all directions.  That is why I said: leave Me to weep in misery. Do not console Me for the ruin of My people.

Isaiah 22:7-11 The Lord’s protection over Judah is removed and the Destroyer of the nations overruns them; their preparations and military might is of no avail, because they do not look to the One who made them, or have respect for Him who planned it all long ago.

Isaiah 22:12-14 On that Day, the Lord called for weeping and mourning, but instead there was joy and merrymaking, feasting and dancing. You say: ‘let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die”

Here are Words revealed by the Lord of Hosts - Your wickedness will never be wiped out, surely you will die for it. Ref REB, CJB. Some verses abridged and paraphrased.

A confederation of nations and entities will conspire to attack the State of Israel. Psalm 83:1-8 They prepare their weapons – ‘shafts tipped with fire’ - Psalms 7:13, their nuclear missiles and thousands of rockets. Jeremiah 49:35  But the commencement of their attack ‘calls forth the wrath of the Lord’ - Ezekiel 7:14.  The Lord has ordained a Day of disaster, a mighty blast of thunder, earthquakes and fire. Isaiah 66:15-16, Jeremiah 25:30-38,  Joel 1:15, Zephaniah 3:8, 2 Peter 3:10, Revelation 6:12-17

This mighty blast will come from the sun, Isaiah 30:25-28. Isaiah 29:5-6 Suddenly, all in an instant punishment will come from the Lord with thunder, earthquakes and a great noise, with storms and flames of devouring fire, that will crumble your enemies into dust. This shocking 1 day sunstrike, will literally fulfil the over 100 prophesies about it. The initial flash EMP, will kill many in the military, because it will cause all rockets, bombs, etc, to explode, on or under the ground. Deut. 32:22, Psalm 35:8 Also many will be killed in the cities by the earthquakes and fires.  Then there is a 24 hour period between the initial light flash of this coronal mass ejection and the arrival of the main mass of superheated hydrogen plasma.  Everyone is terrified, Jer. 6:24-26, Luke 21:26, but some will party and ‘eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow we die’.  Eze. 12:19-20

The Lord’s protection over the Jewish State of Israel is removed, because they do not look to Him who made them, or have respect for how He helped them in the past. The Israelis refuse to acknowledge God’s Hand in their affairs or call for His help so they will be ‘as grain on the threshing floor’. Luke 3:17, Jeremiah 8:5-12, Jer. 11:15-16, Isaiah 4:3-4

The main force of the CME will be upon the Middle East, all that area from the Nile to the Euphrates will be virtually depopulated, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Jeremiah 12:14.

This will enable the true righteous Israelites to gather and settle in the holy Land and the rest of the end time prophesies will unfold, culminating at the end of the age with the Return of Jesus for His 1000 year reign on earth. I don't think you understand the term abomination that causes desolation.

The abomination that is set in Jerusalem by the armed forces of the north is what causes the desolation in Israel.

Desolate means uninhabited.

The abomination placed in Jerusalem by the armed forces of the north is what causes the desolation there. If you notice the timing of the event is at the time the resurection takes place in Israel. If you notice in Revelation, at the time the two witnesses are resurrected, there is an earthquake and a cloud rises from Jerusalem.

That is caused by the abomination that causes desolation. You could say bye bye beast at that time. The only people who could survive the abomination that causes desolation would have to be immortal.

Our armed forced placed an abomination that causes desolation before. It was in Hiroshima. I don't believe the beast that is in Jerusalem when our armed forces place this one will survive any better than those people in hirishima.

The AoD is something that must happen inside a Temple. As Paul says in 2 Thess 2:4.

The event described in my post above yours, will be the next prophesied things to happen and they will set the scene for the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem.

The prophesies about various attacks, Daniel 11:40-45, take place during the last 3 1/2 years before Jesus Returns.  The Anti-Christ, the beast'; will meet his end.....when Jesus Returns. Revelation 20:1-3

No, the abomination placed in Jerusalem by the armed forces that causes Jerusalem to be desolate is our very best weapons used to cause desolation. Daniel shows it takes place at the time of the resurection of the dead.

There is no rebuilding of  temple. Your waiting for something that doesn't happen. Paul always referd to the church as the temple of God. It was Saul who thought God dwelled in temples built by man.

You don't see the many Prophesies that show there will be a new Temple.  I realize that a new Temple doesn't suit your beliefs.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:4; Paul does refer to a physical Temple, dedicated to God and is desecrated by a physical man sitting in it and declaring himself to be God.

It's time to change your beliefs to what the Bible actually says.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
