Shalom!

I'm pondering much nowadays about the lawlessness which has taken over, and that the love (Agape/Ahavah) is growing rapidly cold among us, and it grieves me so much. 😔

I know that certain things just must happen in the last days. Nevertheless, I don't want my love to the Lord and my neighbors to grow cold, so I feel that the Holy Spirit is daily urging me to pursue more of His Love and compassion to everyone!

As the lawlessness increases now, and I hate and abhor it, it can be easy to abhor the lawless people too, but that's not what I'm called to do, but rather the opposite!

So, may we find grace to increase our love in these lawless days, so those who we meet on our way, can be touched by the love of the Lord through us. 😊

Matthew 24:4-14 has many warnings in His words.  I also pray that this does not happen to me, but the "many" He speaks of sounds more like the "fence sitters" who have not given their lives to the Lord.  We certainly are in the beginning of sorrows

Or maybe at the end of the sorrows?

Anyway, while I am waiting for my Home going, I can 🎶 sing : "I fly away, oh Glory, I fly away! When I'm going, HalleluYah, by and by, I fly away!" 😅

I was quoting scripture, but I do also believe that something big is brewing on the other side of the horizon!

I have not heard that song in years!

It has been growing cold for the longest time, @MonicaWife. A few months before the Lord gathered her to Himself, I spoke about this very thing to my adopted mother. She suffered for most of her life, having been treated cruelly first by her family of believers who cast her out while she was still a teenager. After the Lord delivered her with a mighty hand near the end of her time on earth, she couldn't understand this world and the evil which waxed greater every day.

"The hearts of men and women grow cold," I told her. "The Lord has blessed us greatly, and there is love aplenty in our place here in this wilderness, but what lies on the other side of the gate? There is no love to be found. Their hearts grow cold."

She grabbed hold of me tightly and cried. It's simply the truth, dear sister, one we must soberly confront with the knowledge that our God has overcome this world. As He has overcome, so do we overcome in Him. What do we do?

We press on! We press on with the love of Jesus Christ and continue to pour ourselves out for the sake of this world, knowing it is our place to do this. We must be that love on the other side of the gate. We keep our eyes fixated upon Jesus Christ in whom all things are possible. :)

I'm 🎶 singing that song often nowadays and it makes me happy! 😊 It helps me to endure.

Yes, I am seeing the lawlessness and also those who are lovers of themselves. We are getting closer to the 7 year tribulation. The Bible tells us this will happen.

Great time to put away our timidness, unfurl our Christian banner and pray God to give us boldness/courage to share His good news to anyone anywhere any time to whosoever will. There's many today watching the country falling into deep darkness affecting their lives, and they will listen to someone offering hope. I am not an evangelist for sure, but I know what the scriptures told me what I must do to be saved, and what greater thing can any of do than share the light of God's good news for them...

Would not anyone here seeing a house on fire with kids at the window trying to get out from the flames, not RUN to open the window and set them free? Wouldn't think twice before the adrenaline kicked in to help them. A simple prayer to God asking to be given a burden for the lost, the ones facing the flames of eternal fire, to give us the courage to simply talk to a stranger, sharing how God has changed your lives, and how they can receive the hope of God's salvation through Christ Jesus.

Do you remember the faithful Christian(s) who had the courage to tell you about Jesus?  Do you thank God they did?

"As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

There is an Atheist, his name is Penn Jillette, who is famous for many things, a very successful man. As an Atheist, he has stated "I KNOW there is no God".

I was an Atheist myself for three decades, but as full of myself as I was, I did not think of myself as so all-knowing, that I would say that I knew there was no God.

That confidence he had that he was right in his Atheism, makes another thing he said quite profound. It should be ver convicting to every Christian who believes in Jesus' great commission. Mr. Jillette said:

I’ve always said that I don’t respect people who don’t proselytize. I don’t respect that at all. If you believe that there’s a heaven and a hell, and people could be going to hell or not getting eternal life, and you think that it’s not really worth telling them this because it would make it socially awkward—and atheists who think people shouldn’t proselytize and who say just leave me along and keep your religion to yourself—how much do you have to hate somebody to not proselytize? How much do you have to hate somebody to believe everlasting life is possible and not tell them that?

“I mean, if I believed, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that a truck was coming at you, and you didn’t believe that truck was bearing down on you, there is a certain point where I tackle you. And this is more important than that.”

Even an Atheist can get that, why does so much of the church NOT get it?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
