What I don't believe is if the dead are going to eventually rise then Christ is risen because that is exactly The LAST DAY as it was before Christ rose, isn't it?  

You suggest at the time the Graves were open, death was defeated and the resurrection took place long ago, in denial of a future resurrection?

Fact is, those that came out of the Graves at the time of the Lord's death didn't experience the "resurrection", they were raised from the dead, just as Lazaraus and Tabitha were raised from the dead

Do you believe John wrote of the resurrection in John 5:28-29, or Paul in 1 Corinthians 15 and it had already taken place?

2 Timothy 2:17-18 below was written after the event in the Lord's death on Calvary, and the Graves being opened and the saints being raised from the dead

17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

18 Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

The Lord descends from heaven with his angels, these are his armies.  The angels do the reaping for him. 

So Jesus and his angels descend to the clouds.

On the clouds is where the resurrection takes place.

Then Christ comes down with his saints;

Jude 1:15   To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

For those on the ground looking up .....that need to be disposed of, they will see the Lord coming with his saints to execute judgement on them.
 

Revelation 22:12   And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

The reward is coming with Christ at his return.

No one is coming out of heaven with Christ but his angels, which are his host, his army.

Resurrection of the soul, that will inhabit the eternal glorified body of flesh and bone just as Jesus maintained after his resurrection, a tangible body that ate physical earthly food, and could enter a room with doors being shut, and vanish out of sight, can't wait!

At the beginning of the letter of Revelation John is told to give this letter to the churches and so John did.

The instructions were to read this letter aloud so all the congregation can hear it.

At the beginning Jesus Christ is speaking to the seven churches of Manor Asia...and he is sort of telling them what they do right or what they should not do and the Lord continues to tell them that soon he is going to check on them and reward every one according to his doings. 

So as this was the first Generation it happened to them as it was told to them.

Soon after the letter was read in the churches, and at the time Jesus had appointed for them he gave everyone according to his works...he bless them with his reward while they yet lived....

If we are the living believers now and the same thing happened to us and will happen to us and it is happening to us, repeatedly during our lifespan, while we yet live, because that's what we need during our lives to experience the blessing of Jesus Christ and have the chance to use the rewards, which they are not just trophies to be on display or be pin on us, but they are spiritual rewards which will influence the course and our understanding about what we need, and be benefit from them and also benefit others..

We are in this relationship with Jesus...one example would be is that we understand something we did not or could not understood before... 

I am not excluding also gifts as rewards or out of his love for his sheep which can help us in our personal developing and our education and our professional walk at work and help in our financial situation...

Yes Jesus gives us help along the way, a helping hand through the HS so that we can understand the scriptures and receive the spirit of truth.  This is not the end reward though, because the end reward is everlasting life which Jesus is bringing with him.  This is what we are all working towards, the day appointed when we receive our change.  This is the reward.

What I wanted to show DeighAnne is that we have 3 scriptures proving that when Jesus returns he comes from heaven with his angels.  It's a simple truth written for us to know, ....so that when we come to read Revelation, we can understand who these armies are that are coming out of heaven with Christ at his return. 

I knew that DeighAnne was going to throw the Enoch prophesy at me in her reply, so I waited and it came just as I expected.  I could of gone into more detail there, but kept it simple, because then it will just go into another direction and the point gets lost, just like when I mentioned that Jesus comes with his reward, and you saw this as the talking point, but didn't mention the other point I made to say it is truth?

So again, Jesus comes out of heaven with his angels and descends to the clouds.  This is the gathering of the saints at his return. They will be brought back from the dead (the grave), and the living will be picked up also.  This is when death is conquered..on that day, and not a day before.  After judgement is done, they will all come down to the earth with Christ who will take possession over all the kingdoms of the earth.

So when the Lord comes with 10 thousands of his saints, they are coming from the clouds ....from that level, after the gathering, and not coming straight out of heaven.

Who can say this is truth?

Who is Jesus coming out of heaven with when he returns?   Were we not told already?

Matthew 16:27   For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Matthew 25:31   When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Mark 8:38   Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
