Genesis 1:1 ...and the Spirit of God hovering over the water.

1. Where did the water came from before the creation ? There are not any verse regarding the creation of water.

God suddenly divide the water without any hint as to when did He create it. Its in Genesis 1:And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.”

2. And in the 1st day God said let there be light that made morning and evening. How can there be morning and evening before the creation of the earth ?

Genesis 1And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

3. Further how could God create the sky to separate the water at the above and below the vault/sky on the 2nd day before the creation of the earth on the 3rd day ?

Genesis 1 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

Did Moses write it wrong ? No way.

Imho Genesis 1:1 actually explains that God already created the earth and the water before the socalled 1st day by Moses. But the earth was not yet ready as it was all covered by water. Formless and void as Moses wrote it. Thats why the Spirit of God was hovering over the water.

So at the 1st day the earth was already spinning when God created the light of the stars, spinning created morning and evening

And therefore God did not create the earth on the 3rd day as churches believe but simply separate the water  from the land.

Folks, pastors, servants of church kindly explain.

Simple ... water was created on day 1.  :)

Second question ... evening and morning ... are time frames.

Third question ... creation of the atmosphere ... the separation of the seas and the firmament.

Be blessed,

George

Thanks George,

1. But there is no verse explaining the creation of water.

2. How possible evening and morning as time frames in the 1st day without the earth created first on the 3rd day ?

3.How does God separate seas and firmament on the 2nd day without creating the earth first on the 3rd day ?

The creation account says everything was non-existent before the creation and all things were created by Him and for Him.  John 1:1-5; Colossians 1:15-16 are a few passages I can think of.

Time will soon be a non-factor, and God gives us a reference in time in the creation account.  You are basing time on the fact the sun, moon, and stars needed to be here in order for time to exist.  Simply, time in this realm began when God spoke and began this 'creation' beginning on Day 1.

I guess you'll have to ask God when you see Him!

The entire creation account is an interesting discussion amongst scholars, but honestly to comprehend the entirety of this magnificent creation in one chapter is an amazing summation of this universe.

You know George the core of this earth is still liquid lava, when God separated water above and below the vault the earth needed cooling first that might took millions of years.

So do you see that ? Earth was already created as hot liquid ball long before the creation of water on the 2nd day. Probably planets were created by the bigbang. Thats the message which i comprehend.

Thats why when God created light at the 1st day it was actually the shining stars that light the cooling and spinning earth and created morning and evening.

So the 3rd day was not the creation of the earth but the separation of water and continent.

I could be wrong but that might be what the Genesis/Moses is trying to tell us.

From the non-decay of certain isotopes, I think the earth was never a 'molten ball' as some say.

Do quote scriptur accuratly.

It literally means, when everything began to begin God created.

In that there is no problem for Gd created space, time, energy, matter and the laws by which they interact.

the choice is quite simple for us that are here and not there and then:
We can let God's Word reign in our understanding.

We can let our own presuppositions reign.

We can let presuppositions of others reign.

I'm going for God's Word because God says this

Matthew 24:35 (KJV)

[35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
