All you told me in your post is this: "you have no idea"

Again..this makes no sense..sorry.🙏

I have no idea...meaning what exactly?

Meaning, an idea that is absent does not exist. If you have an idea, it is because the idea is there in your head.

Yes > in Luke 17:20-21 > Jesus says >

"The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See, here!' or 'See, there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21)

One way I understand this is, that God's kingdom is God's realm - - - of how He is, what He is experiencing, how He does things, and how He rules.

And in this realm of God, we share with Him in this . . . in His love >

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)

This love is in God; so it is in the kingdom of God, plus this is Heaven's love; and so it is in the realm of Heaven.

My opinion, Starise, is they are the same kingdom, then. But "Kingdom of God" brings out how this is God's kingdom, while the name "Kingdom of Heaven" brings out how this realm of God is higher and better than this earthly world's kingdom.

What matters is that the love is the same and so more and better than human and worldly loves and ways of loving.

And 1 John 4:17 says >

"Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17)

So, in this love we share with Him in how He is in His character > "in this world" John says. Plus, with God we can feel what He is feeling in this gentle and kind all-loving family caring and sharing love. And Philippians 1:9 to me means we discover how He sees things in this love, and how He rules.

This is all in His realm, shared with us in His love living in us.

The bible is singular with respect to the kingdom, as we don't hear about "kingdoms" plural.

Yet the kingdom is composed of ideas and locations, so I look at the different aspects of the kingdom and in order for me to break it down I generally look at the text to see if it describes a locale or a condition.

This is why I stated the kingdom can potentially be a confusing subject. I'll admit  there were some tight turns in the road for me, and I don't claim to know everything about it. The kingdom is a collective of US believers and God who is a them. Now add to this the idea of a citizenship joined through the Spirit of God.

So I am not looking at different kingdoms, just the multiple ways we see the kingdom from different perspectives.

If I think about this I come up with some odd comparisons, like this one=

Satan is the master deceiver and copycat of God, but he is a very poor copycat, and the things he tries to mimic are poor examples of God's ways yet he doesn't give up.

In our fallen word tech heads talk a lot about connectivity, the cloud and the hive mind. The eventual goal of the internet is to get us all connected through both handheld and implanted devices. To have us all on the same page through manipulative media. Basically brainwashed lemmings.

Now hear me out- In God's kingdom, we will have connectivity  through the Holy Spirit. Actually we already do, but probably not to the extent it will be later since we are held back in these bodies. Our connectivity to God will allow us to still retain our individuality UNLIKE the devil's copy underway. We will be in the kingdom hive which is the best hive in the universe.

When someone says they want to "go to heaven", this tells me they want to go to their final resting place in the KINGDOM.

If the total fruition of the kingdom were ALL here there would be nowhere to go later.

For us who are in Christ in the here and now--I think of the 'Kingdom of God' as being the sphere in which He reigns.

My question is, how can he come and take us to heaven, when he’s already IN OUR HEARTS/ SPIRIT?

Test.

He is neither in your heart nor in your spirit, because he did not come in the spirit but came in the flesh. (1 John 4:2)

But the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may obey it. (Deut. 30:14 BSB)

And if you don't have his words, then in what way do you have the Spirit of Christ?

Rosie if you were asking me, I'll take a stab at it. Otherwise I think a good dialog has been established by others. And, no matter who's fault something is thought to be, can we try to keep an efficient thread here? I am not finger pointing to anyone.

Just please think twice, no three times before we type something that may be damaging to someone else. I have had to learn this the hard way, and trust me it's always better to wait to reply or think about how we reply. If things can't be resolved maybe we can have a bull ring thread....second thought maybe that isn't such a good idea.

And Kiwk. What lessons from David do we want to question, or did you want to cover an overview of David's entire life?

Oh dear.

Have you read the story of Nicodemus?...tell me why Nicodemus doesn’t understand what Jesus is saying to him and why he doesn’t understand?

He couldn't understand because he did not know nor see the things that "we" have seen.

"...we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, and yet you people do not accept our testimony." (John 3:11 BSB)

Johann,

Many scriptures establish a standard we are expected to do our best to follow, but we ALL drop the ball occasionally, even as believers. Did not Moses strike the rock in anger and suffer dearly for it? Some more often than others.

If you are doing everything on that list 24/7 then you are either superman or you went to heaven already.

Attempting to ascertains another's status is also unwise in a forum like this where we are limited to one form of communication, coupled with a variety of cultural and likely some language barriers at times.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
