If all babies and mentally disabled people go to Heaven then perhaps everyone does with, perhaps, a few exceptions.

Not everyone goes to heaven. A person who is mentally capable to ask Jesus Christ into their life to be their Lord and Savior is responsible for their salvation.

Some excellent responses have been given thus far. I'm in agreement with @Selah7 that our Father in heaven is merciful, and His only begotten Son judges fairly. We are familiar with passages which inform us that the Lord has regard for the afflicted; He does not turn His face away from the suffering. That's very important for us to keep in mind.

The Lord healed the afflicted when He walked among us, and He also forgave many (the adulterous woman comes to mind). Notice whom the Lord condemned: those who were blind but claimed they could see. The prideful who proclaimed, "I am better than that sinner!" We remember the scripture,

But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be miserable, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you. (James 4:6-10 NASB)

I am convinced that the Lord shows mercy to the clueless, those who don't know their left from their right. Indeed, God shows mercy to whomever He chooses, and the testimony of scripture makes it clear that He has regard for the downtrodden, the oppressed, and the afflicted. It is man who objects to the mercy of the Lord, like those accusers of the adulterous woman from the Gospel. When the Lord said, let he who is without sin cast the first stone, Christ declared that He alone would cast the stone... or not. He did not, so what does this say?

It says that man cannot comprehend the righteous judgement of the Lord Most High. Mercy triumphs over judgment, my friends. We certainly can't judge a matter which is hidden to us, so questions regarding how many people will be saved is fruitless and a waste of time.

How many people don't know their left from their right?

I don't know. Do you? It's my place to render mercy as a default judgment, trusting that the will and purpose of the Lord is done at all times. It's better to err on the side of mercy than condemn ourselves with harshness and a hardened heart. :)

Hi Alive, can you please explain what the many are called, I understand chosen, but this called business, sure does confuse me?.🙂

Its hard to state for sure, but I suspect it means that many hear the gospel, but do not respond.

Many people hear the call of God through creation, conscience and preaching of the Word. But only a few will respond because they are the ones who are truly hearing. Matthew 11:15

I would NEVER do that.  I hope that I have not sent the wrong signal.

I should answer the question posed by the title of your topic directly: I believe that they will.

Personal experience convinces me, my friend. I suffered brain damage from my close encounter with death many years ago. The Lord promised to reverse everything I had suffered, but it pleased Him to accomplish certain aspects of my healing over the course of two years.

First, He cured the diseases which were killing me. The Lord did that in an instant so I would not die.

Secondly, on that day Christ promised that He would never depart from me and regardless of the extensive damage inflicted upon my brain, I would hear His voice like a calm in the storm. This was true. I could barely speak... it was impossible to focus or concentrate on anything... but when the Spirit of the Lord spoke, I heard His voice as if I were standing before God upon His throne.

Third, the Lord regenerated the damaged regions of my brain, but it pleased Him to become my Schoolmaster. I had to learn how to use the rejuvenated regions of my brain all over again, and the Lord promised to teach me. That's what the two years were for, my friend.

The Spirit taught me how to speak again. The Lord taught me how to reason, and so my first lesson was focusing upon His voice to the exclusion of everything else. He also guided me through coping with emotional impulses because I possessed all the emotional maturity and control of a toddler.

The Lord taught me by reading the scriptures, and reasoning with Him. At the conclusion of those two years, I witnessed His promise to restore everything I had lost --- and increase what I had possessed before tenfold --- come true.

The Lord is merciful and compassionate to the afflicted. :)

If so, isn't it better to be born that way rather than being made "normal" and thereby risk not receiving eternal life?

I'd look at Luke 12:47-48. One of my grandmothers had dementia, and it turned her into an abusive terror in her final years. She was actually diagnosed as psychopathic. Because of those two verses and the general portrayal of God as just and merciful I get the impression that they aren't held fully accountable. I imagine it scales according to how able they are to comprehend God's commandments and the world around them.

As for whether or not it's better, I don't really think so. The Bible says in multiple places that there will be judgment according to works. Others may disagree but I personally take that to mean that while salvation isn't based on works, Heavenly rewards are. I'd rather be able to partake of that than not, and I'd rather be able to clearly communicate my spiritual war and survival stories with others here on earth.

Psalms is poetry, which I have to say is very hard for me to understand.   I just don't think with that side of my brain.  So, to me, I take it more as an idea that some people are just evil and this is one way to state the fact.  Nothing is being said about the mentally disabled or ill person in this verse.

I agree here. The book of Psalms being what it is it often speaks in poetic terms and symbolism. I feel like the verse is doing just that as well, speaking on evil in language that probably shouldn't be taken literally.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
