This is just a physical resurrection of the mortal body.  Jesus and disciples raised a number of people from the dead, and there are several accounts of dead bodies coming back to life.  However, the key to the singular saved resurrection is the receiving of a glorified, immortal body, as Paul described in 1 Cor 15.  Paul raised to life a young man who fell from a 3rd story building, but he wasn't given a glorified body.

In the accounts of people being raised to life, all of them died again.  None had immortal bodies, or the Bible would have made that clear.

And, 1 Cor 15:23 is clear;  Jesus, the first human to receive a glorified body, is the firstfruits, and then ALL believers will receive theirs when He comes back.

So, until Jesus brings all the saved and dead saints from heaven back to earth, there will be no resurrection into glorified bodies.

In the account of Lazarus' being raised from the dead, the Jewish leaders were so mad about it, they planned on killing him per John 12:10-11.  If he had a glorified body, that would have been obvious and ridiculous to try to kill him.

Sorry, but no verse says what occurs immedietely after the tribulation is the 6th seal.  You are assuming so.

Are you not grasping this? Tribulation and wrath are completely separate events. Believers are not appointed to wrath so there will not be any believers on earth during the wrath of God. That alone shoots down what you say about the second Advent.

Tribulation and wrath are completely different events. The tribulation is OVER before wrath begins. I have posted the scriptures many times showing this.

There is no agreement as to the 3 earthquakes, whether all the same event or 2 or 3 separate events.  We'll just have to wait and see.

Two resurrections? But in Rev 20, the first resurrections is announced. Then it says the rest of the dead live again after 1,000 yrs.

All resurrections are physical, are they not?  Whether they be of flesh and blood (not having gone into the grave) or of flesh and bone (out from the dead, the grave, hades) whether they be of this SEEN REALM or the UNSEEN realm.  Will any of the dead who are resurrected when Christ returns be resurrected to immortality, or will they all be mortal?  

I do agree, there were those raised up from 'the dead',

but do you know of ANY that were OUT FROM THE DEAD?  OUT from the graves? 

Because THAT is a different kind of 'resurrection' in which a BODY is sown while a DIFFERENT body is raised up,

completely different than 'the Spirit of Life' being brought back into the same body.  If you think about it, EVERYDAY people are being resurrected that way from mouth to mouth resuscitation, the Heimlich maneuver, heart transplants etc.   


AS for 'out from the grave' though, were there any besides Lazarus? Because of that 'one' Jesus said

1Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

2(It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

3Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.

4When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is NOT unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.


Do you believe the 'same body' that goes into the grave is resurrected to the spiritual realm?


Please let me know the Scripture that tells us they were resurrected MORTAL

and if you believe they were in 'flesh and blood' body coming OUT OF THE GRAVE, where will that information be found written because it seems to me that is in direct contradiction with not only 

37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

Are you saying they were resurrected with the body that was sown or not?

Are you saying they will die AGAIN, and be placed in a grave AGAIN, and be resurrected out from the dead AGAIN?  

What is written that makes that ok?

This is often quoted ... just so you know there are some that view this as. a 3 fold event.  

1Co 15:23  But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; then when Christ comes, those who belong to him. 

1Co 15:24  Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power. 

Firstfruits ... then those who belong to Him ... then the END.

Just so you know there's an interesting passage that isn't Scriptural but repeated in the Church Fathers ... the Didache is the oldest document though not Scriptural, is dated roughly 100 A.D. and it says this ...

Didache 16:6 And “then shall appear the signs” of the truth. First the sign spread out in Heaven, then the sign of the sound of the trumpet, and thirdly the resurrection of the dead: 7 but not of all the dead, but as it was said, “The Lord shall come and all his saints with him.” 8 Then shall the world “see the Lord coming on the clouds of Heaven.”
