They are very wet today but it doesnt appear to be bothering them ..... I have to have cataracts removed from both eyes on 21st and I will be sooo disappointing if they decide to fly for the first time during that week as I wont be able to see it

My doctor won't do both eyes at one time.

Not that I remember. I had to wear a patch for about a day and wear it at night so I wouldn't hurt myself sleeping.  I did pay a little extra to have the surgery part done by a laser instead of by hand so it would heal quicker. I was awake for everything except for about 5 minutes while they did a series of shots so my eye wouldn't move. It was really interesting.

I ended up with 15/15 sight in both eyes for distance and cheap readers for close vision. You have to choose between far or close good vision, and I decided to see well far because I was tired of glasses.

My eyes have become so bad they ave decided it is worth doing both together but they have two teams .. my right eye will be done first then a different team will do the second eye ( no idea why but I assume to avoid any possibility of cross contamination ???) takes about 45 mins each eye and he thinks I should be able to see without glasses apart from reading   At the moment when I have to take my glasses off for swimming I need a guide dog
