Hi,

Sheep Don't Bite Sheep.

Did you just get bit?

Are you getting bit often while within the sheepfold?

Maybe that is not a sheep, but instead a wolf that is doing the biting, even a  little antichrist, in among the sheep, of which there are many already!

So what is the thought here?

Some can be a tad too  terse in writing style (I definitely have to watch out for that myself).   It really isn't even style, but perhaps a lack of recognizing that the words used or the tone of the words can and do bite. When they do bite the reader of them doesn't hear the message,  instead only feels the pain of the bite.

So the victorious feeling of I got you, I'm one up,  that may  come is really a loss, not a gain.

May each that wishes to make a point, even a strong argument, work diligently to not come across as a wolf in the sheepfold, and instead work at being most gentle.  For it is good to be wise as a serpent, but there is need, extreme need, to be gentle as a dove.

Cordially,

Neighbor

I would recommend that everyone just before they hit the submit reply button, they stop and read their whole post and ask themselves if someone wrote that to me would I be OK with it.   Not necessarily offended, but OK with it.

Posting to "win," to get that one up feeling is definitely not cool and is of the flesh not the Spirit.

Many, many of my posts show they're edited by me.  One of the main reasons?  I'm looking at them after posting and remembering this is a fellow member of the body I'm speaking to in a less than desired way!

And far too often, the meaning I thought I was conveying while initially writing it, upon reading it again before posting (or later) I see it's not as clear or could be taken in more than one way.

I write in a dry style perhaps some could call it a socially retarded way.  So be it. I don't add much smiley faces, hearts or hugs to the regular public Forum.  I basically just try and stick to facts and give references. That's the way I write.

I did try  for a while here on worthy boards to respond in writing prayer, but even for that I was met with emnity by some, So now I just pray silently in my heart and give the prayer sign that I am praying for the request.

I am a very direct person by nature, and I try to be helpful,  and I understand that can rub some the wrong way.

when I am really interested in a topic, I research it a lot.

we can't please everyone. The most important thing is to be pleasing to the Lord and caring for others as He has cared for us

I basically find  it really difficult to communicate in writing ( i rather prefer not to go into more personal details here)) but I like to do my part in sharing Gods Word.

Just to add...

Jesus said who is good, only God is good.

Matthew 19:17 NKJV
So He( Christ Jesus) said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”

Can you say that you are a perfect angel 24/7?

I think you know, none of us can.

Are there wolves amongst the sheep?

Did not Gods Word say there would be?

He also said to love one another, show kindness to one another and maybe you would be surprised  just how  a little kindness can melt away the mask of someone you perceive as a Wolfe and just see for yourself how a little Christ-like loving kindness can melt away  a self defense wolf mask wall  and allow the real sheep to shine through.

Only God knows who His sheep really are.

All we can do is take care of our very own walk with God and examine our own conscience with God.

Philippians 2:12

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

Matthew 5:43-48 Christ Jesus said:

You have heard that it was said, “You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.” But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.

John 15:12 Christ Jesus said: This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.

A lot of the time I will just delete mine and start over.

Lately I have been deleting almost half my posts also, and walking away.

I agree to all that has been said above, basically.

I am aware of the viewers/seekers watching/reading my/our words, and am more concerned about them.

Problems in communication is a two way street.
It doesn't take long to recognize those who demonstrate much sensitivity to any non agreement.
It's not so hard for me to rephrase a reply to be more appropriate. Or delete it again. Then head to the shop.

This is a forum of forgiven sinners, mostly, not perfect. It's not so hard to get along, if we wanted/tried to..really.

Scripture is sharper than a two edge sword. Cuts to the marrow. And God does not apologize.

Let the scripture do the talking.....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
