I've been called worse,lol....but yes,I've always had my artwork on the side,a little more than a hobby,did a lot of freelance to pay the bills while  studying for so many years .. and yes,I had considered it before college and took a stab at it--it was not for me,it's monotonous,tedious and most folks what what they pick out from a book which is all stencil work---- there is AN art to tattooing,a finished product is art but unless the tattooist does his work freehand ,makes his own stencils or designs then I would not consider all tattooist,tattoo artists....It was amongst one of the most boring things I've ever experienced

Glory to God! Those are comparable to a sugar rush,the little burst of energy your exhausted run down body gets because it's not fed properly in the first place - and then you crash!

@kwikphilly I understand that those who have done the years of footwork - so to speak - in a tattoo parlor, with preparatory honing of skills can find it more rewarding in subsequent years.

Sounds like you would have been a real tattoo artist rather than a 'scratcher'.........

I understand that some tattoo parlors in Las Vegas charge only $10 = $15 for a basic tattoo; but there again they are probably from small, portfolio templates that are run off in a few minutes.

PS: @kwikphilly Amidst all the templates in Vegas that are available, there are still a few faith based designs that can be obtained and received for a only a small cost, anyway; so it's not as if the pricing is prohibitive.

A big trend is personal script

Eg:A love letter- person's sign off " Love you always, Jeffrey"

So they use trace paper and make a single stencil to be used as the template on the skin.    You see all these phrase tattoos in some childlike awful script- uhhh

Wouldn't make me look any better but about ten pounds of gold might make me feel a little better.

That's an odd thing to say concerning how a gift of 1/3 million dollars would make me feel.      Has nothing to do with being a Christian or the constitution.  That much wealth would give one opportunities to help a lot of people.    And, good or bad, that makes me feel better.
