From the context we understand it was about the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the children of Jacob. Does not matter how anyone he would like to refer to him, he still the same but he did not reveal himself to Abraham as Jehovah to be with him in the same way as he would be with the Israelites to be a Father unto them. And with the Covenant of Sinai their Lord and the enforcer of their Covenant.  Abraham did not know him that way, or Issac and or Jacob. 

They knew him in a different way without the commandments and without the religious Calendar and the sacrifices for the forgiveness of their sins and the purification laws without the book of Leviticus and the Temple with the order of Aaron Priests. 

No one could interfere with him in the execution of their Covenant. If he wanted he forgave the people on his own.  

God never said the word Yahweh he said Jehovah but the people were afraid to say his name for their reasons and they call him with a moniker "Yahweh". Later they called him Adonai. 

I really do not know how and when they started to say Yahweh when they were referring to him. But God did not say to call him Yahweh. It's not clear and in any case if they referred to him as Yahweh or Adonai or Lord God...he knew that they call upon him and when they were worshiping the Idols and call the God Idol Lord he knew that they do not call upon him but they call the Idol God Lord, he knew their hearts.

Jesus is a man, just like the other Jews. He was one of them. 

Moses had to deal with the God of Abraham who was preordained to be the Messiah. But as he was God he couldn't be the Messiah and he had to empty himself of the glory he had to be found in the form of a man starting from the beginning had to grow in the womb of his mother and being born and he had to learn everything like any new born baby has to learn, for him was from his mother and from the divine providence as it was provided towards to him from the Heavenly Father...you right about something this is why we have the Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and we do not have the God of Abraham as Abraham had or the Jews had or Moses had instead we have Jesus Christ...this is why Jesus only called upon the Heavenly Father. As we cannot have both of them at the same time. 

We have Jesus and they had the one ordained to be Jesus Christ. 

The Lord has prepared a body for me.

Except that the Father raised him to the glory he was before he emptied himself.   he is the same glory as he was as Jehovah, Yahweh, YHWH, whatever you want to call him then or now.

Amen. And a lot more, and a lot we could not have with the Old...the redemption in his blood and the Heavenly Inheritance for mankind.

Not really tired at all, just like it put plane and simple.    Jesus and whatever you want to call him (YHWH, Yahweh, Jehovah, God of Israel that Moses interfaced with and Abraham knew and Ezekiel walked with, created Adam and Eve and the rest of creation) is the same spiritual entity.   Just in Jesus case in a human body.   And he transitioned back into his full God form and is at the right hand of the Father which John saw in his visions for the book of Revelation.

God has many names. Each one reveals a particular nature of Him. Like Jerusalem..King of Peace. He is called The Lamb of God. And many others that reveal to us who He is.

I want to say that I am blessed. In Revelation one Jesus while appearing to John in his glory he told John after he finished telling him I am the one who died and raised from the dead and have the Keys of Death and Hades and the Key of David and now I am alive forever more and then he said that I am God Almighty.  Paul said that the Father bestowed upon Jesus all his Theotis and all his power, Paul said God did that to the Man Jesus Christ. What a Glory he made himself lower than the Angels a man and God exalted him high above all the Angels, it is him whom he sited on the Throne to his right. Above all, higher of all.
