Who is the 4th kingdom? Doesn’t the 10 horns and the little horn come out of the 4th kingdom?

Doesn’t the little horn have eyes like a man and a mouth that speaks… isn’t he a man?

Did Israel exist at the time of Babylon, the first kingdom?

Did the 10 horns come out of Israel or the 4th kingdom?

1-Daniel says the little horn has eyes like a man but doesn't say it is a man

2-Israel as a nation existed in Egypt before it became a kingdom in Canaan.

3-The ten horns did not come out of Israel or the fourth kingdom. The ten horns are in the fourth kingdom Daniel saw and the little horn is among them.

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.

11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Think of Nebuchadnezzar's kingdom being divided  .That's what the fourth kingdom.is like.A devided kingdom.

Daniel 2:41

And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

In Daniel 8:9,

Strong's Hebrew 4704: 1) little, insignificant, a small thing

In Daniel 7:8

Strong's Hebrew 2192: 1) a little, small

In both chapters, the little horn is characterized as being "small," however, he is being compared to two very different entities. In one, he is being compared to the 10 horns that preceeded him. In another, he is being compared to the large horn of Alexander.

You have missed too much of the meaning and prophetic messages in Daniel. The book of Daniel is all about the coming of the Messiah in the 70th week of Daniel’s prophecy, and the restoration of the Jews from Babylon AND the more important message being the restoration of mankind back to the Garden.

I understand your comments but they have nothing to do with the Book of Daniel and His prophetic Words.

Nothing to do with any US president, the US, China, Russia or Islam. The 4th and final kingdom of pagan Rome  was “authorized,” if you will by God. It was the last kingdom but it was taken over by papal Rome and the little horn.

This little horn would be found to claim divinity, infallibility, god on earth, speak against God, etc. This is the one that will continue until the end of time until he is destroyed by God.

He is indeed a man (papacy). Daniel 7 and 8 provide more than 10 characteristics of the little horn… impossible to miss.

He comes out of the 4th kingdom of pagan Rome JUST AFTER THE CROSS but will not come to power (sitting atop the 4th beast of papal Rome) until the 6th century.

I understand that none of this makes any sense to you and your interpretations are farrrrrrrr different… and that is okay!!!!

But there is absolutely no reason to continue my view as opposed to your view.

Thanks.

Words do not matter per se William, the description of said person is more relevant. The only real switch brother is that the book of Daniel switches from Aramaic in 7 to Hebrew in Dan. 8:1, that is why the words are different, both means small diminutive is literally one subset word.

#4704 מִצְּעִירָה mitsts@`iyrah {mits-tseh-ee-raw'}

 from H4705; TWOT - 1948c; n f
Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)

 1) little, insignificant, a small thing
—Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
Feminine of H4705; properly littleness; concretely diminutive:—little.
Strong's (Hebrew & Chaldee Dictionary of the Old Testament)

So, we have to understand that when the Little Horn stands up against the "Prince of princes" that is Jesus, and it happens at the end times, and he is killed "Without hands" just like in Dan. 2.

In Daniel 7 & 8, we have the two chapters when Gabriel introduces the little horn.
WITHOUT going into Revelation, and based on the many characteristics and the timing found IN THESE TWO CHAPTERS, who is the little horn and when did he arrive?

He is alive now but he only becomes the Beast when he conquers Israel

Dan. 7:7-8 shows he arises out of the Fourth Beast Head but only after the 10 Horns (Complete Europe Reunited not 10) thus hes born in the E.U. (Amongst the 10)

Dan. 8:9 shows he can only be born in Greece, he conquers TOWARDS the East (Turkey/Seleucus) South (Egypt/Ptolemy) and towards Israel. Thus he can only come out of Cassander (Greece)

Greece us in the E.U. problem solved. Add in that he has Old Assyrian blood (Turk or Iraqi) and we understand some Old Assyrian's family migrated to Greece via the Turkish border some time back, and this man was born in Greece, which gives him the legal right to become the E.U. President.

Don't care for the limitation here, but....

He comes from one of the 4 horns of the Diadochi. Even Revman knows this, still gets it wrong, but he does realize the problem.

The little horn doesn't come from the ten horns, as many believe, but rises among them, they exist prior to the little horn.

Then Dan 8 tells us the little horn arises from the end of the succession of Greece to the Diadochi, and from one of the realms of the Diadochi arises the little horn.

I'm also convinced Dan 11:1-3 is a short, concise iteration of the lineage of the Dan 8 prophecy of the little horn. Dan 11 follows two kings and their kingdoms[three really, but that's another discussion], and those two are Egypt and Asia Minor.

Dan 11 presents us the prophecy of AE IV, a precursor to the willful king and from the same lineage.

The little horn is the willful king, the end-time beast, and is from Mesopotamia.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
