The thing is though Debp, I wasn’t Born Again by reading God’s word and I can only go by Gods word that he speaks to my heart..my testimony is scriptural, yet, many disagree with my testimony, that’s fine..I can’t be told by others how to be Born Again...I know how I was Born Again of the Spirit and it can never be erased from my heart/ spirit..I hope you understand this @Debp....I had a mind blowing rebirth..that God revealed himself to me via his Spirit.he testified with my spirit that I was his child.that blew my mind.

We have eternal security once we have been Born Again of imperishable seed..that is my belief.

I understand what you are saying.   There are others who have had such conversion (born again) experiences.... hardly any Bible knowledge but the Lord came into their lives in a dramatic way.

Not everyone comes to the Lord in the same way.

Someone told me they found peace with God through accepting Christ as their Savior.    Sometime later I prayed for forgiveness and asked the Lord into my heart/life.   And instantly I had peace in my heart and knew Christ was in me by the Holy Spirit.

Of course, I then started reading the Bible and learning more to grow spiritually.

Yes, we must read Gods word to grow in spiritual knowledge, as it’s a spiritual book,( Gods Living word) only to be understood in the Spirit.

Even if we never read his word, we would never die as we have been Born Again of imperishable seed.....without reading his word, we would just never grow....yet, we would still have that eternal security.....which can only come from the Living word of God.

Hi Kwik, I personally think @FreeGrace and myself need to end our discussion, as I will never agree with what he says to me, and he certainly doesn’t agree with my testimony....it’s the forcing what he believes onto me, it’s not of God Sis.i can only be led by the Holy Spirit, I can’t take on board any other name, other than the name and teachings of Jesus....Gods Son, Jesus was God in the flesh, ....best we stop now don’t you agree?..xoxoxo.

edit to add...not asking you to take sides Kwik, just that the two of us should call it a day?

Thank you @kwikphilly....your input is appreciated.

Galatians 5:22-26

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Jesus the True Vine
(Isaiah 27:1–13)

1“I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard. 2He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful. 3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.

5I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing. 6If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.

No Greater Love

9As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love. 10If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love. 11I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

12This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

14You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you. 17This is My command to you: Love one another.

The Hatred of the World

18If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first. 19If you were of the world, it would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world.

20Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’a If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you as well; if they kept My word, they will keep yours as well. 21But they will treat you like this because of My name, since they do not know the One who sent Me. 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.

23Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well. 24If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father. 25But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated Me without reason.’b

26When the Advocatec comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father—He will testify about Me. 27And you also must testify, because you have been with Me from the beginning.

I love this scripture, we remain in the true vine because God grafted us in, when we became Born Again, ..God is so true to his word....he does exactly as his word says above...,Praise God!

Thank you @kwikphilly....your input is appreciated.

I would not take sides- I love Brother Free Grace and he has a good solid Doctrine - I've had quite a few conversations with you as well and I do " get you" and I Believe I Understand YOUR Testimony - often times people( yrs,Brothers & Sisters in Christ) speak, write and give analogies very different than each other- from what I've read I think your BOTH having a difficult time communicating at should both refrain and simply TRY to hear one another - not every single post( tagging us ) or quoting us needs a reply,it's unwarranted and leads to discord

Why is it I can talk to our Brother for pages & pages and even where we disagree there's no disharmony and it's exactly the same when I have pages & pages of Discussion with you? " Take captive our thoughts' - that's why.

I agree dear Sister and I'm sure FreeGrace will as well- it's time to chill out and perhaps revisit later and try to relate- some are very well read,I'll give you an example too

You speak a lot about the imperishable seed- now if anyone is a KJV studier they will say" that's not what the Bible Says,it's incorruptible seed" and there behind a dispute over TAMAHTOE/TOMATOE- sounds so silly, doesnt it?

But semantics and analogies can become a point of contention when speaking with someone who is very Scriptural,if you get my jist- now I don't know exactly why there's obvious discord but I do know we have a common enemy and it is not each other,we are on the same side of this constant Spiritual battle

So let's take a nice break and Praise the Lord!

Glory to God Most High- we are to Represent our Lord & Savior in LOVE

With love in Christ,Kwik

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
