The perfect post should get a brilliant emoji or something.

Well there is the "well said", but yes a brilliant emolie might be rather nice. Though any comment detracts I suppose from that which is already  complete.

Don't want to fall victim to having one's "ears tickled" by praise. And then find one's self puffed up readied by the enemy  for a deflation.

Ya know; I like a little leaven, maybe the more the better. After all if all is perfect around me  my own faults  and failings stand out all the more.

There is a  comfort in not being the only one that is not perfected, yet that we might all work together one helping the other  with our so commonly shared faults, while loving God loving one another, without harsh judgement one against another. All happening as we are progressively sanctified while already fully justified before the Father by the sacrifice of the son as made known by the Holy Spirit indwelling each of us in a form of holding unity till our Lord's return.

Yep a little leaven might be just the thing that keeps me humbled, and learning.

I mean the least you can do if someone does so much effort is give it a like or something. If nobody even responds it may be because nobody even reads it and why would you even do all that effort to make these threads then? I translate funny videos on another forum because one girl thought the video was funny and responded and said thanks for translating it. The rest doesn't respond, so I assume they don't watch it, which does not matter. It's just some silly Dutch video's. But I did effort to translate some more for her. Had she not responded either I would just stop after posting one or 2. Why do effort for nothing?

Perhaps you are right in that encouragement is often well received. But if it is of God's will that one is led to state or do a thing it does not matter the response  of mankind, not at all. For perhaps that too is God's will that no one receive or heed what they do receive.

I think it tests us. It tests what we think we are accomplishing and it brings to question within ourselves what are we seeking as we share. Are we seeking the praise of men?  Hmmm. What profit is there in that come the kingdom of God?

There is a box showing the names of those that got approvals of posts listed by the number of approvals, I guess within the last several days or weeks or months. Gad, I personally think it a bad thing to have at all; but it is there, the tickle box. Kinda a tickle me Elmo thing.

People can be extreme and idolize the preacher, but the other extreme is zero response. In real life I can't imagine someone preaches and the whole church gives zero response. Just sit. No Amen, hm hm, not even a grin when he makes a joke. I'd say run!

I've thought about this a little. Gratitude and recognition are nice, but it can't be what we're chasing. In my Bible reading today I was going over the sermon on the mount. Jesus said there not to be like those who announce their giving and praying in public, and stated that people like that have received their reward in full. The phrasing used, "they have received their reward in full" made it stand out to me.

That out of the way I do feel like the statistics are still of some use. I've been around long enough to know who's who among the active posters, who I like and respect, and so on. Someone new to the forum can just glance and get an idea on a person's level of activity and whether or not their content is resonating with others in this particular branch of the body of Christ. In that sense I think it's still useful.

Interesting, and makes me also consider the other side of the coin- censorship, the ability to shut down the expression of the thinking of others.  I think I will start a thread on TikTok in order to expand on that concern. For I kinda feel I am more threatened by those that want to censor what I am allowed to receive as information than am  by those who may want to somehow use information, they may have gathered, against me.

Of the 500 or so threads I initiated there remains quite a few that many have never viewed if they did not venture often into that forum, including:

Bible Study

General Discussion

Apologetics

      Defense of the Gospel

      Science and Faith

      The Universal Moral Law

      The Substance of Man

Theology

      Understanding Hebrew roots

      Gifts of the Spirit

      Spiritual Warfare

Prophecy/Eschatology

My Clubs

In other words, there is no reason to miss my threads now that I will no longer be posting OP's, I have already been missed probably a few hundred times.   :flag_of_truce:

You can still find me, and if a response is made on any I will react/respond back.

Ahhh . . . now I understand 'why' you are saying what you are saying.

Listen brother . . . I don't stay on Worthy all day, neither do I log in every day. It has nothing to do with liking posters, or, either choosing how many posts I look at. It has a lot to do with how much time I have each day to view posts, and sometimes . . . day to day responsibilities take precedent over Worthy (there I said it). It does not mean that I discount what OPs are about, it generally means how much time do I have to stay on Worthy as a whole. For me here is what I do on days when I can log in:

1. IF an Subject catches my eye, I don't open it, I hover over the posting and it brings up a window that lets me see it without ever opening it up. Not sure what the analytics report about that.

2. Not every OP do I feel confident about to reply or offer an opinion. End Times is one such subject. Some subjects just don't trip my trigger so to speak. Thats ok (I hope) but that is the absolute truth concerning Ray.

3. I learned long ago that no online format can substitute for heart-to-heart fellowship at my local assembly (church), which frees me to not expect that I am appreciated here at Worthy.

4. I don't have to be 'right' all the time. Proverbs states that as iron sharpens iron so does hearty counsel sharpen me (bad quote but you get the drift I hope). I have been sharpened somewhat by broadening my perspectives by reading some posts on Worthy, and after considering them against scripture, the posts have at times corrected me. That alone makes Worthy valuable to me 'broadening' my view of Christianity to others in parts of the world I will never visit, and I cannot get that at my local church.

I am just saying what I do, and how I view Worthy . . . and yes, my responsibilities in life once again are causing me to log off. I will come back tomorrow morning EST.

Grace and Peace . . .

Ray . . .

You really need censorship. I've been on Dutch christian forums where practicing homosexuals and a witch could say what they wanted. Talked with a guy about the end time teaching from Amir Tsarfati and the literal witch, she's into witchcraft, but oh how nice that she is so interested in christianity, so let her be, asked if I had taken my pills. Then I had enough and left. The mod was always biking and didn't care. By the way Tik Tok, I know a guy who preaches there. He's getting a lot of young people saved. He has really good stuff. Why not? They're all on Tik Tok. He reaches them there.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
