People should not just assume that other people know or should know all this already.

My wife is 73 and I 77.  She has MS and if something happens to me, she can't really live by herself.  Our children nearing their 50s are a six-hour drive away.   Should she have to move to their location to get the daily help she would need, she would basically lose all her friends here.   We have faced this problem for nearly 20 years now.   While I didn't learn much from this video, it would have been helpful for me personally if I had seen it 20 years ago.  Some things need planning, and waiting to the last minute makes some of it impossible.

Thanks for posting it, and I hope it helps some to plan a lot further ahead than we have to do.

Hi other one,

Looks to me like the Lord has looked after you both for many years. Now, I personally believe the Lord`s return is very, very soon, just months away. So, if true then you both have nothing to worry about. And if not then you still don`t for the Lord will guide you.

Blessings, Marilyn.

I am not seeing what you mean. I said hospitals will tell someone that word or words are not allowed in the hospital even though  they are allowed under the first Amendment as free speech. Dont see massive billing related?

I could not see massive billing under free speech sorry. On the subject of billing Our local hospital was doing all it own billing then one day decided to pay someone to do it and everyone that had paid off all bills and the ones who had not paid off all bills got turned into a collection agency and had to prove they paid. I had to provide 3 years worth of paid bills with account number billing number and check and date paid to be cleared. just one of a thousand times something like this happened to me.

Hi, I credit the "general public" as having more than a little knowledge. "It"(The video) obviously  can be kept here,  I find it to be a self serving infomercial by an internet influencer, simply a sales pitch for profit not public service. Just one opinion, mine, obviously.

The internet is just chock full of videos that could fill up this video category of general. Few if any have anything to do with what I would think I might find useful on a Christian message board though.

"According to a recent study by Johns Hopkins, more than 250,000 people in the United States die every year because of medical mistakes, making it 'the third' leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer"

“My little angel” is how Christopher Jerry describes his daughter Emily.

At just a year and a half years old, Emily was diagnosed with a massive abdominal tumor and endured numerous surgeries and rigorous chemotherapy before finally being declared cancer-free. But just to be sure, doctors encouraged Chris and his wife to continue with Emily’s last scheduled chemotherapy session, a three-day treatment that would begin on her second birthday.

On the morning of her final day of treatment, a pharmacy technician prepared the intravenous bag, filling it with more than 20 times the recommended dose of sodium chloride. Within hours Emily was on life support and declared brain dead.

Three days later she was gone.

Sadly, Emily’s case is not unique. According to a recent study by Johns Hopkins, more than 250,000 people in the United States die every year because of medical mistakes, making it the third leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer.

Other studies report much higher figures, claiming the number of deaths from medical error to be as high as 440,000. The reason for the discrepancy is that physicians, funeral directors, coroners and medical examiners rarely note on death certificates the human errors and system failures involved. Yet death certificates are what the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rely on to post statistics for deaths nationwide.

The authors of the Johns Hopkins study, led by Dr. Martin Makary of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, have appealed to the CDC to change the way in which it collects data from death certificates. To date, no changes have been made, Makary said.

‘The system is to blame’

Makary defines a death due to medical error as one that is caused by inadequately skilled staff, error in judgment or care, a system defect or a preventable adverse effect. This includes computer breakdowns, mix-ups with the doses or types of medications administered to patients and surgical complications that go undiagnosed.

“Currently the CDC uses a deaths collection system that only tallies causes of death occurring from diseases, morbid conditions, and injuries,” Makary stated in a letter urging the CDC to change the way it collects the nation’s vital health statistics.

“It’s the system more than the individuals that is to blame,” Makary said. The U.S. patient-care study, which was released in 2016, explored death-rate data for eight consecutive years. The researchers discovered that based on a total of 35,416,020 hospitalizations, there was a pooled incidence rate of 251,454 deaths per year — or about 9.5 percent of all deaths — that stemmed from medical error.

Now, two years later, Makary said he hasn’t seen the needle move much.

“Medical-care workers are dedicated, caring people,” said Chris Jerry, “but they’re human. And human beings make mistakes.” According to him, the day Emily was given her fatal dose, the hospital pharmacy was short-staffed, the pharmacy computer was not properly working, and there was a backlog of physician orders.

Afterward Chris said he discovered that pharmacy technicians, rather than well-trained and educated pharmacists, are compounding nearly all of the IV medications for patients. And many states have no requirements, or proof of competency, for these pharmacy technicians.

The video in question sheds light upon the dark hidden broken health care system today. And the good ole boy system.

1958 my 13yr old older brother was hit in the head with a baseball, and was misdiagnosed by the doctors and spent the remaining 34 yrs of his life totally paralyzed. He needed to be 100% taken care of, everything a healthy person takes for granted. The lives of our family of nine was drastically changed forever. He was never put in a 'home', but lived with us and taken everywhere possible that we went. Only a few know what that entails.

My wife and I took care of her mother after her dad died, and also helped her with her medications. He mother complained of serious pains after starting to take new pills the doctor recommended. My wife researched the different medications her mom was taking, and made her stop some of them that were never supposed to be given together. Her mom was immediately better.

During the covid fiasco we depended upon the enlightening data/records that  people like this nurse and the other doctors and nurses who were fired for using their heads and experience in saving lives and not obeying hospital administrative 'protocols.' Think "Doctor" Fauci, the death angel.  Trust the Lord, and double check the experts.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
