I, relunctantly, will be voting for Trump.  But it going to take a large chunk out of my soul.

It did me in 2016.  And then it took a chunk out of my wallet and  took up much of my time too. But I survived it all,  aged a whole lot for sure, yet life goes on, praise God.

If the Lord tarries, and no one drops the big bombs, this will all be just so much vapor of the moment.

I have studied his "values"  since before 2016, I find them  absolutely appalling. I find him  to be very dangerous a person to place in power.

He did betray  the constitution, his responsibilities to it, and he did turn on and bite his own Vice President. That to me is the very definition of a snakelike creature.

If I offer an apology it will be to snakes in general and not for seeing him to be very much a snake.

I ask of myself what do I have to do with Belial,  and find I want nothing to do with choosing between snakes. There is no such thing as a better choice between the candidates of the duopoly.

So you are holding against Trump things in his past.   Hopefully he will now be growing more spiritually as God spared his life.

Do you pray for Trump to grow spiritually or do you just condemn him?

I'm certainly glad no one continually harps about things that we all have done in the past.   Jesus teaches us to forgive others.

"In America we can still vote our own conscience, without apology"

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. talks Catholic faith....(from Catholic News Agency)

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. discussed the importance of his Catholic faith in his daily life during an exclusive interview on “The World Over with Raymond Arroyo

In the interview, the presidential hopeful opened up about his family’s strong faith growing up, how his faith helped him overcome drug addiction, and how it impacts him in his day-to-day life.

“The centerpiece of our lives [growing up] was Catholicism,” Kennedy told Arroyo.

“We said the rosary at least once a day, oftentimes three times a day,” Kennedy said. “We prayed before and after every [meal]. We read the Bible every night. We read the lives of the saints. We went to church, sometimes twice a day. We would go to the 7 o’clock Mass and 8 o’clock Mass in the summers. It was our whole family, and it was really our whole community. It was part of me growing up.”

At age 15, following his father’s assassination, Kennedy expressed that he struggled with his faith. He became addicted to drugs, including heroin, until he was 28 years old.

“During that period of time, I wouldn’t say I lost my faith, but when you’re living against conscience, which you have to do if you’re addicted to drugs, you push God out over the periphery of your horizon,” Kennedy said. “So the concept of God was, although it never was erased from me, it was just a distant concept that was not part of my day-to-day life.”

He credits “a profound spiritual realignment” for his recovery from addiction in early adulthood, which he said has been “the centerpiece of my life ever since.”

“I had a spiritual awakening very early in my recovery, which I was lucky about because I no longer had to struggle with the compulsion to take drugs,” Kennedy explained. “That was lifted away from me. But you can’t live off the laurels of a spiritual awakening. You have to renew it every day, and you renew it through service to other people.”

He said his faith gives him peace in the midst of the storms of life and cited his favorite saints, specifically St. Francis and St. Augustine.

(Sounds to me like a serious and faithful Catholic)

Hi Debp,

Of course  I make my discernment based upon the man's history. Hey this is going to get interesting isn't it?!

A Nikki Haley pac has voted to take their Nikki Haley money and use it to support Harris. Never Trump  Republicans flipping over to Harris, wow! It is always the evil party versus the stupid party. Who knows maybe the perfect storm for a third candidate to win it all.

Going to be a real dog fight. I was amazed when  I went into two stores today with my Kennedy hat and staffs at both stores gave me the thumbs up and said we are voting for him too.

Going to be more  B ticket fun than Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was  back in the day. This might even become an E ticket ride. Hang on it's going to get bumpy.

Our God has a keen sense of Shakespearian   Comedy "humor" me thinks. Keep our trust in Him and Him alone.

There is a alternative a third choice that should soon be on every ballot in every State. My own thought is what do I have to do with Belial?  I have studied that third choice I can go with it.

Why would I make a choice between  either of the common duopoly candidates? It is still a long time till elections lots of time to see what  choice might be best. Don't settle for just two is my thought.

I hear you . . . the practical reality though is that currently we have a two party system. So voting for an 3rd choice is really an protest vote allowing one of the other 2 parties to win.

Politics is an dirty thing . . . I wish I didn't have to sort though all the shallow and mud slinging . . . but I have an biblical citizenship duty to account for at Jesus' bema seat. So . . . . I will try to make the best choice I can for the administrations that will come to power on the coattails of the candidates.

I realize that this too, shall pass.  What bothers me more than anything is Christians who believe him to be "anointed" and "consecrated" and without error.  I hurt because so many Christians don't understand that we are under the judgment of God.

I cannot vote for Kennedy because as I heard him say, he does not oppose post-birth abortion.  He just gave the mantra the left is giving, "That's between a woman and her doctor."

Yep that bothers me too! Yet I have come to also understand that he will do battle to help every woman in need so that none will feel such great pressure to  murder their unborn child while it is in their womb.

He is a champion for clean water, clean earth, and good food stocks, responsible big pharma policies, things that matter no matter where one stands on other issues.

He has filed over 500 lawsuits against overreaching  government agencies, plus big corporations that  spoil the lands. He is also strongly an advocate for closing borders and deporing illegals.

He states we are being invaded by men aged 19 to 21 -ish from all over the world right now. He did spend time at the border, personally interviewing many of them, and says he saw with his own eyes  two groups of 'em of over 110,000 each.

There will always be abortions, legal or otherwise. My own efforts at one time was to assist my wife in a ministry that helped women not feel they had to abort.  That brought us into the bizarre world of  the USA and it's States welfare systems that really promote immoral behaviors plus abortions. That was long ago. Yet  even now part of my own family  still works  in the name of our Lord in that arena.

At the least RFK Jr. is not part of the duopoly, at the best he has a history of being be a man of convictions towards helping all people obtain  good health and excellent opportunity to excel in whatever legal endeavor they may choose.

He will definitely be a  fierce warrior against the drug cartels! And so I am all in for RFK Jr. even as I know my hope certain is in Christ Jesus alone.

This is becoming one wild ride, quite the adventure,  eh?

Hi, Not really, Kennedy can win it all with 34 percent of the vote.

Long shot, sure, but much better than no shot.  The biggest voting block today has no political affiliation, having rejected Democrat and Republican parties. Together the two parties memberships  do not reach 51 % of the voters. Kennedy will almost certainly be on every State's ballot.

But even if it were not so, I have to ask myself what do I have to do with belial, the duopoly that is the combined Democrat and Republican Party. I cannot yet again vote within the confines of it's presentation of candidates.

Better that I protest for my grand's sake than rubber stamp  vote in one of  the two choices from the combination of the one evil and the one stupid party.

"That's America, little pink houses for you and me"- nope that just  doesn't cut it. Least not for me.

He can also get Kamala Harris in the White House.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
