DNA  is interesting, but really irrelevant. The first black USA President was Bill Clinton. Hey no joke. Remember?

For What It's Worth there's something happening here
but what it is ain't exactly clear

...I think it's time we stop

...There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong

...It's time we stop
Hey, what's that sound?
Everybody look - what's going down?

....A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly saying, "hooray for our side"

hi..  I hope it is ok to ask.. but I was quite puzzled about this statement?

I looked up news articles online.. for around the time she was running for senator or had just been elected /sworn in..  and there were many american news media articles back then which refered to her as 'black' or 'african american'... or they mentioned about her having both Indian and Jamaican descent /etc..  or both..

For example:

https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/2016-election-day/meet-kamala-harris-second-black-woman-elected-u-s-senate-n680726

https://www.cbsnews.com/sanfrancisco/news/california-ag-kamala-harris-wins-battle-to-replace-retiring-senator-boxer/

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/29/magazine/kamala-harris-a-top-cop-in-the-era-of-black-lives-matter.html

These are just a few of the many articles I found from back then mentioning her ethnicities /heritage.

So it was well known that she had both ethnicities?

She is both.

When someone has parents who are of different ethnicities.. they inherit both ethnicities /heritages.  It isn't an either this ethnicity or that ethnicity .. it is both........

(except perhaps in countries where a child of mixed ethnicity is legally considered as being of the ethnicity /citizenship of one particular parent only.. often the father.    However as far as I know the Usa grants equal rights to both parents for these matters.)

Just some thoughts thats all.  (As someone from a country which has many different ethnicities and cultures)

Truly no offence intended to anyone.

Thank you.

Well for myself im not offended by your post. I would say out all Representatives and Senators which is over 500 imo less than half are trustworthy to follow the Constitution. I see Trump may be offensive to some with how he speaks and not to others. He is not a politician imo. I was offended by The Clintons and Obamas. Now many things Harris says offends me.   Most people I have known use the Fathers last name as their choice of heritage. Some do use both Parents.  imo one that choose both should always use both not the mother name sometime and the Father name at other times.

Yes, of course.   But count on Trump to play the race card.   He's not the only one of course, but it's a despicable thing if it's based on a falsehood.

I listened to that video several times and one should take a lot into consideration.

1. they invited him under false pretences, since he was told that Kamala would be there.

I heard #1 somewhere else, but in trying to substantiate it, I haven't been able to find any other sources saying that Harris was supposed to be there.  Can you provide any sources (preferably that are not strong right bias) verifying that?

The best president in a century?  Sigh.

I give up.  I just slam give up.

For some reason, I had thought you were british and kept wondering why you posted about trump so much. No clue why I thought that.

This is probably un-Pc or un-woke or sumptin, but how much black does a person need to have in them before identifying as black?

For instance, I have 1/16 Cherokee in me - can I ID as native American?

To be precise, you could be a tribal member IF your ancestry can be traced to either the dawes roll (1907) or the baker roll (1924). Realistically, you would likely just be able to say you have some native american blood.

I have 1/16 saami blood (once known as lapp) but was never exposed to that culture. So I do not identify as saami.

There are official rules see https://www.bia.gov/guide/tracing-american-indian-and-alaska-native-aian-ancestry Scroll down to Cherokee

Also there are some 54 tribes that are still battling the USA federal government for recognition as native American tribes! The USA took away their status back in 1954 ( Date?) backing out of the treaties it had with Native American Tribes.

Robert F Kennedy Jr. Has been representing them and some recognized tribes too. He  filed lawsuits against the USA federal government, and is a champion for their rights to be recognized under the treaties that the USA decertified. See https://www.kennedy24.com/native-americans warning: pop up ads might seek political donations! Robert Kennedy himself championed Native American ( Indian tribe) rights.

Excerpt:..." Robert F Kennedy Jr. inherited from his father a deep commitment to improving the lives of Native Americans. Like his father, he sees the poverty and suffering in Indian Country as our country’s greatest shame and he believes that the federal government’s unfair dealings and broken treaties with the tribal nations are our nation’s original sin."

Back on track: I cannot but feel grief for our nation that today it is still pained and stained with racism's core which is antichrist.

Is this still the land of George Wallace mindsets? After all these years, with so many hurt, and so many dead for the cause of freedom  for all races, all creeds, under God, under the flag of the USA,  we are going to be engaging in race baiting diatribes , one side against another  when on this there should be no sides, none?

There is no excuse for falling into that trap, not after all these years! Do not excuse it, do not except it, declare it to be the evil that it is.

Racism and race baiting is evil!

Trump doesn't need to change a thing about himself.  But he needs to change everything about how the USA has been run into the ground over the past 3 1/2 yrs.  Trump has a 4 year track record of doing everything right.  Harris has zero accomplishments of any kind.  But I want Harris to talk.  Just like I wanted Biden to talk in the debate that ended his presidency.  The more these people talk, the more we see that they have nothing positive to say, or do.  If this sounds harsh, so be it.  The world is spinning out of control.  And while we all know this must happen, God knows that his people will always fight evil in order to truly love their neighbor.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
