AI is just an information technology. Like computers before it, AI allows humans to manipulate and process data much, much faster than we could without it.

Yes, given that humanity is corrupted, humans will almost certainly use AI for corrupt purposes. But that does not mean we Christians should avoid using the same technology for legitimate purposes (e.g. to more efficiently spread the Gospel or to make a living or to save time etc.). Otherwise, this will be the latest in a long list of examples where Christians missed the boat, and lost ground to the world, because we gave in to the fear of new things.

These are my thoughts exactly. There are a lot of ways in which AI can and even will be used positively, like any other technology. I don't doubt that AI will be used in some horrible ways, but we only need look as far as Hollywood to see what happens when a given arena is largely abandoned by Christians.

Almost everything "man made " can and often is used to for evil .... the gun was made to help hunting for food yet how many are killed by this ( at the use of man ) ?   Nuclear bombs came  from an experiment aimed at helping mankind getting into space was to help mankind but ended up with so much junk and spy satellites I am not sure how much help it has been  yet without it we would not be debating this now .

At the start of the industrial revolution people screamed that machines would destroy mens livelihood and cause famine around the country .  Cars were thought to be evil and men waving a flag had to walk in front of them to warn people that danger was coming   yet how many of you would be happy to live in a world with NO machinary and NO cars and NO tv /computer/phones etc

Have faith that what man turns to evil God can use for good

I lived in a world with no tv,no computers or smart phones and I survived. In fact it was quite nice back

then. But if you go back to no cars you are going back to the 180o's and before that. Some technology

is ok such as the electric stoves and refrigerators and dishwashers but there is a limit to how

far man wants to take technology.

and if you asked people in the 1800's if you should have dish washers and washing machines etc they would have been horrified ... use all that water when you can do it by hand .   I too lived in a world that my grandchildren cant believe was possible but by the time they are grandparents I have no doubt things we thing of as being evil will be common place ( unless God knows differently )

People in the 1880's may not be horrified but it was so out of their understanding they would probably laugh.

Some people who were very conservative might look down on technology for the future but some would

think it would be great.

The Amish live in a world that you describe. No cars, no computers,no cell phone etc. Although they have gas

run washing machines. The Amish think that those who are Englishers(that would be us) are too much

into worldly things and that can lead to evil. Some of the things the Amish adhere to I agree but

some things I do not.

Data centers to operate AI require a great deal of energy and I suspect the powers that be plan on charging the general population for the cost - not the large corporations researching advanced AI systems. Are you prepared for an increase in your energy bill?

Just another COL increase on top of all the others so that those that do get representation in gov. can excel. (That is, large corporations).

Knowledge will cease:

1Cor 13:8

Rev 21:1-5

Isa 65:17

Some contend that the earth will be renovated but according to God's Word 'all things will be made new' ... God is going to make all things new cf.

Isa 42:9

Isa 48:6

Isa 66:22

2 Peter 3:13

1.            new things, Isa 42:9  Isa 48:6

2.            new song, Isa 42:10 (cf. Rev 5:9 Rev 14:3)

3.            something new, Isa 43:19 (cf. Rev 3:12)

4.            new name, Isa 62:2 (cf. Isa 56:5)

5.            new heavens and a new earth, Isa 65:17

                        Isa 66:22 (cf. 2 Peter 3:13)

The "new" day (cf. Rev 21:5) was, in reality, the day that God always wanted for humans, but the Fall in Gen 3 caused a terrible disruption! It is surely possible that the Bible's imagery of heaven is a restored Garden of Eden (cf. Rev 21:2 ).

The real awesomeness of God's Word is that Jesus said this:
Mark 10:14 (KJV)

[14] But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

When one considers the fulfillment of all this prophetic issuance and Paul's s/Spirit addition
1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)

[9] But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

We, entering the eternal estate, shall find that each and every one of us is exactly as a child as all things, in New Heaven and Earth, are completely made new ...
Revelation 21:5 (KJV)

[5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Does this verse mean that knowledge will increase in the end times?

Daniel 12:4

“But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

The old heaven and earth will be burnt up at the begin of Great White Throne
Revelation 20:11 (KJV)

[11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

After the GWT judgment God begins His eternal state of GOOD...

Revelation 21:1 (KJV)

[21:1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

[2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

[3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

[4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

[5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Verse four is the removal of all that existed in first heaven and earth creation -'ALL'-
Eternal state begins verse five...

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
