I'm aware that it is a phrase in one of the creeds, so if that is your source you will need to research the history and reason for that creed.

 

Jeusu is the eternal Son of God. He has always existed as the 2nd person of the trinity.

As such john1:18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Unfortunately, the Catholic Church is deeply entrenched in polytheism. Catholics teach a Trinity as one species, but the Bible teaches a Trinity as one composition. What do I mean by composition? An example: light is composed of three primary colors, likewise the Trinity is composed of three persons. Catholics claim that this is a false teaching and call it partialism. But that is what the Bible teaches.

There are some OT scriptures where God calls him Son.  What are the qualification to be called a Son?

"I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, 'You [are] My Son, Today I have begotten You. ... Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish [in] the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed [are] all those who put their trust in Him. - Psa 2:7, 11-12 NKJV

These are prophecies. Jesus became the son of God when He became a man, see here:

You can't find a verse in the Old Testament (which isn't a prophecy) where Jesus is called the Son of God. Before his human incarnation He was called the Word of God, the Messenger of God or the Arm of God.

I advise you to leave the belief of the eternal generation of the Son. It basically teaches that God has begotten another personal God. This is clearly polytheism. God is not a species.

As a slave of God, I am being attacked by Catholics. Catholics call me a false teacher and they make fun about me when I say I believe the Trinity is a composition, they say my God is a pizza. Although they are the false teachers, although they are worshipping idols and praying to the dead. Catholics aren't Christians, they are pagans. I curse them.

The funny is, even a Muslim said that my Trinity makes more sense than the catholic Trinity.
