It's important to know that man, until gaining the knowledge of good and evil, could not have fellowship with God.

Really?

Yep.

Genesis 3:22 And he said: Behold Adam is become as one of us, knowing good and evil: now, therefore, lest perhaps he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.

I'm talking metaphorically and not  literally with the subject title.

But If not then why test Abraham with the ordeal of sacrificing his son ?

And what the point of rolling the dice of infinite faces when already knowing the number it will land on when thrown?

Does the Abraham story confirms the notion of true unpredictable randomness existing ?

No, there is nothing random in God's actions, if there was he would not be God.

The randomness we perceive  is because we see thing from a finite view point, we don't  see it from the perspective of eternity.

Remember Romans 8:28 All things work together for the good of those who are called a cording to his purpose.

Yep.

Genesis 3:22 And he said: Behold Adam is become as one of us, knowing good and evil: now, therefore, lest perhaps he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.

Yet genesis 2 says -

The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.

But for Adam[f] no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs[g] and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib[h] he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

That to be is fellowship.

It was only after the fall that Adam was frightened  by the sound of God in the garden.

Some may have hinted that evil has a purpose... the eternal state has shown it does not for it is to be separated out and have no part with God or the things of God forever without end...

Exactly!  If evil serves God's purpose then a just God would not punish sin.  Sin did not ENHANCE Adam's relationship with God, it damaged it.  The knowledge of good and evil brought with it the responsibility for our actions and the consequence of our sins.

It is reasonable to think what is meant is a renewing or 'renovation' if you will. Doing a word study shows this clearly. God made a covenant with man regarding the earth He Created. I suspect the fire is symbolic for a cleansing or purifying.

This statement in the Word prevents me from thinking that way:
Revelation 20:11 (KJV)

[11] And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and
                                                         >there was found no place for them
.<

God solving of this problem is to burn it up completely
 2 Peter 3:12 (KJV)

[12] Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

[13] Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

actually, both the Revelation passage and the 2 Peter passage tells us why- there was no place for the first heaven and earth as
there's an entirely new one to take the place of ...

Revelation 21:1 (KJV)

[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

The reason lies in God perfect righteousness Jude reveals
Jude 23 (KJV)

[23] And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

We know the garment could not sin However we find God hates even that which was next to sin (first heaven and earth)...

Evil ultimately serves God's purposes by showing that rebellion against Him is futile.   Satan tries to derail God's will, but only succeeds in showing God's glory, as in the case of Job.

God knows His plan for man from beginning to end. What I showed Cindy Lynn was that God does not know what free moral agents will do until they make their choice, citing Abraham as a classic example.

God tested Abraham and when Abraham made his choice and obeyed God, God said, "NOW I KNOW."  God limits Himself in this area. If God knew Abraham would pass the test He put Abraham through, why go through all that trouble? God never said, Well I'm all knowing and knew all along that Abraham would pass the test, but I just felt like putting him and his son through this ordeal, just for the fun of it?

Free moral agency means just that. We are free to make our choices, and God allows this, and if we make the wrong choices then God holds us responsible for those choices. Why doesn't all knowing God stop people from sinning?

Because if He did that then there would be no free moral agency, and Heaven would be full of people who feel they were forced to obey. That's the reason Satan will be loosed a little while after the one thousand year rule of Jesus, the Millennium, to weed out any who are alive during the Millennium who may still rebel with Satan.

As soon as Satan is released from the bottomless pit, Satan will waste no time in doing what he does best. The Bible says that he will then go out to deceive the nations once again. He will be allowed to literally go to the four corners of the globe to get as many people as he possibly can to do his evil bidding once again.

The Bible says that he will be targeting all of the people who are wanting to rebel against God from the Millennium Kingdom.

Rev. 20:7-10, “When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

How many will Satan gather from those who went through the millennium?

"In number they are like the sand on the seashore."

Satan will go throughout the earth to deceive the nations who have not wanted the reign of Christ and who in their hearts have longed for an opportunities to get rid of God's laws and rigid suppression of their lusts (v.8; Eph. 2:1-3)

God did not create man to steal, rape, and murder. These are things which men freely chose to do and God cannot be held responsible for their free will choices. If God allowed people to be born, knowing before hand they would murder, rape, and steal, then on judgment day they could hold God responsible for them being born that way and destined to eternal hell for their deeds.

We are free moral agents, not robots pre designed to do good or bad.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
