Why are Jews so smart?

Studies have generally found Ashkenazi Jews to have an average intelligence quotient (IQ) in the range of 107 to 115, and Ashkenazi Jews as a group have had successes in intellectual fields far out of proportion to their numbers. A 2005 scientific paper, "Natural History of Ashkenazi Intelligence",^[1] proposed that Jews as a group inherit significantly higher verbal and mathematical intelligence and somewhat lower spatial intelligence than other ethnic groups, on the basis of inherited diseases and the peculiar economic situation of Ashkenazi Jews in the Middle Ages.

Different studies have found different results, but most have found well above-average verbal and mathematical intelligence in Ashkenazi Jews, along with slightly below-average spatial intelligence,^[2][3] producing an average IQ score in the range of roughly 107 to 115, well above the general mean of 100.^[4][5][6][7] Cochran et al. calculated an average IQ of 112–115,^[1] and Murray & Entine found 107–115.^[8][7][9] A 1954 study found that 24 of the 28 (86%) children in the New York public school system who had an IQ of 170 or higher were Jewish.^[7] One study found that Ashkenazi Jews had only near-average visual-spatial intelligence, about IQ 98, while a 1958 study of yeshiva students demonstrated that they had an extraordinary high verbal intelligence (which includes verbal reasoning, comprehension, working memory, and mathematical computation) as their median verbal IQ was found to be nearly 126.^[6]

Another kind of evidence is that Ashkenazi Jews have had success disproportionate to their small population size in a variety of intellectually demanding fields, such as science, technology, politics, law, and commerce.^[10][11] Only about 2% of the U.S. population is of full Ashkenazi Jewish descent,^[1] but 27% of United States Nobel prize winners in the 20th century,^[1][4] 25% of the winners of the Fields Medal (the top prize in mathematics),^[8] 25% of ACM Turing Award winners,^[1] a quarter of Regeneron Science Talent Search winners,^[8] and 38% of the Academy Award-winning film directors^[6] have either full or partial Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry. Jews comprise up to one third of the student populace at Ivy League universities,^[10] and 30% of the U.S. Supreme Court's law clerks.^[11] In Great Britain, Jews are overrepresented among Nobel prize winners by a factor of 8.0.^[4] In Hungary in the 1930s, Ashkenazi Jews comprised 6% of the country's population, but 55.7% of physicians, 49.2% of attorneys, 30.4% of engineers, and 59.4% of bank officers; plus, they owned 49.4% of the metallurgy industry, 41.6% of machine manufacturing, 72.8% of clothing manufacturing, and, as housing owners, they received 45.1% of Budapest rental income. Jews were similarly successful in nearby nations, like Poland and Germany.^[6]

I recently heard of the 40 countries rated USA  is rated 40 the other 39 produce smarter kids than we do. Now there are many things we should change one of which is lack of discipline in U.S. schools.

The USA is the undisputed number 1 in economy, innovation and military. The USA is the strongest country in the world. They are better than everyone else and I am convinced that Jews are the reason for the success of the USA.

Jewish culture has maintained a focus on education and work ethic. A similar claim could be made for certain demographics of Asians. Generally speaking, free Western culture rewards applied education and work ethic - regardless of racial heritage.

I understand but your talking and looking at this through the natural I look at it a tad differently. First He does not work like that.  He rains on the just and unjust and He is no respecter of anyone. Within every group there are very smart wise people. Yes there is a variation within every group. The song playing "if I've got Jesus I got it all". So if I gain the world but lose my soul...yeah. God freed the Israelites from slavery in Egypt after roughly 400 years, despite all the miracles and deliverance He performed, they continued to complain and doubt, often questioning God's leadership even while being guided through the wilderness. That is what He wanted to just be their God yet keep reading.. something that just breaks my heart "And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken to the voice of the people in all they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not be King over them. He came and died for the worlds sin.. He came to His own first.. no matter how one wants to argue it they choose to put Him on the cross. He told them face to face I am the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but my Me(Christ).  Much of this talk in this thread is just empty words. 

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? The song playing by Brandon Lake "That's who I praise" song talks about GOD. Ever promise in Gods word is to anyone that believes in trusts in Yeshua/Jesus Christ. God even talked about this.. what GOD sees.. all this stuff does not will not impress God. Wanna see Him move? Faith that is the only thing that pleases Him.  To make it simple.. Someone that could not hold a note.. felt so sad.. God sad "I made the sparrow and I made the crow". We are not seeing as our Father does. 

God said "Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey. But I will not go up with you because you are a stiff-necked people; otherwise, I might destroy you on the way."  "Stiff-necked" is an adjective that describes someone who is stubborn, proud, and unwilling to change their ways. Haha.. the song playing? "God loves people like us". 

Its the meek "Blessed [inwardly peaceful, spiritually secure, worthy of respect] are the gentle [the kind-hearted, the sweet-spirited, the self-controlled], for they will inherit the earth."

 

Albert Einstein pointed out a long time ago: If my theory of relativity is proven successful, Germany will claim me as a German and France will declare that I am a citizen of the world. Should my theory prove untrue, France will say that I am a German and Germany will declare that I am a Jew.

He showed me a tree once.. short is He said "show me a branch that was not originally of the vine. I am the vine you are the branches". I was grafted in.. no one can tell the difference. Yet there are branches that are originally of the vine.. praise GOD glory to Him for the Jewish people. It was 12 (with Paul) that took His word to the world and He has blessed them.. and every promise He made them He will keep. Like I said.. this is just the way I look at it. If I saw a old elderly Jewish person.. I would say sorry for how we Christians treated you hundreds of years ago. I was not there I didn't do yet.. I own it.

They are generally healthier because of what they eat and exercise. They are brought up understanding education is important and they in general have an excellent work ethic and high morals. That has been proven by the research I made up.
