I never said you were doing it wrong! To my knowledge you have not said Gentiles are not in the new covenant?

You're not doing anything wrong

Look,I was " new at this" too once & guess what? I wanted to shout the Good News from every rooftop and tell everyone and everyone all about Jesus- I hadn't a clue what my Calling was but my heart was surely in the right place ( my mouth wasnt, lol or my head)and that's okay- we should be Excited

Share, share, share but " listen" to God's Still Small Voice, seek Him with all your heart, sou I & mind and you'll see,He Will lead you & Guide you to the purpose of your Calling as well....you don't have to anything except let go& let God

In His Love,Kwik

Share where the Holy Spirit leads you to. If you feel led to witness to everyone, do so. Everyone needs Jesus. Pray for their salvation as well, and for the Lord to give you words when you witness.

Romans 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame."
12 For there is no difference both of Jew and of Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call on Him.
13 For everyone, "whoever shall call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without preaching?
15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!"

I'm quite active on social media and internet message boards. It's my experience that there are "many" (subjective term) people who identify as Christians that apparently have a strong disdain for Israel and its Jews. Perhaps you don't encounter such people in your daily encounters, which is probably a good thing.

I would question a lot of whether they are actually Christian or not. There are a lot of people in this nation who claim Christianity but have zero idea of what it means to be Christian. Many think just because they were born a Christian, or they believe in "a" God and they push some biblical values they are "Christian"

None of the above make one a Christian.

My pastor is not a huge supporter of Israel. But he still loves the people there. Like a good Christian should. A good Christian will love others even if they disagree with them.

Most of the people spewing hate, calling Israel child killers, genocidal maniacs, etc etc fall into the former category, and not actual Christians.

So the reality is for this question to be accurate, one needs to define the definition of "Christian" one is using.

Maybe it's God's plan that they remain "lost" from him until Jesus comes in glory and saves them - or not. :)

What about "The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9 - emphasis mine)

I'm no Bible scholar.  It's been explained to me that God doesn't get what God wants. God might want everyone to live forever in his Kingdom but, unfortunately, God won't get his way. I'm told that God won't violate anybody's free will to reject him and so those that do reject Jesus will then be tortured by God 24/7/365 because God is also fair and so the fair thing to do to one that rejects Jesus is to hideously torture them forever and ever and ever.  That's what countless Christians preachers, pastors, & Christians have told me so it must be true.

Is that also your belief?

Matthew 7:21-23 is indeed a fair warning to people who claim to follow Jesus. I see plenty of people who claim to be Christian who don't struggle with sin but rather revel in it!  It's for Jesus to judge them but I can discern that their lifestyles demonstrate that they are rejecting Jesus rather than following him.

I was addressing your statement:

So, does God "not want anyone to perish," or does He want Jews to "remain "lost" form him?" in your belief

I wouldn't call it a "statement". I guess I was pondering aloud.

I would like to believe that Jesus cares enough and is competent enough to persuade ALL into freely following him. But it's been explained to me by many learned Christian scholars that Jesus doesn't care about the "lost" and that, even if he did care, that he is incapable and too incompetent to persuade the lost to change their views and choose to follow him. Thereafter (I'm told), Jesus gives up on those that he was trying to persuade to follow him and then proceeds to torture them day and night in some sort of forever concentration camp called "Hell" that makes Auschwitz look like a girl scout camp.

Speaking of which, can you imagine an Auschwitz Jew being gassed, cremated, and then being sent to Hell for their lack of belief wherein they are then tortured by Jesus even worse than Heinrich Himmler did to them?

To me that seems contrary to God's nature, but what do I know?

You said: " I was taught God blesses those that bless Israel and curses those that curse Israel."

The actual verse reads:

Genesis 12:2-3 KJV

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

[3] And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

The difference is critical. It's through Abraham's ( spiritual) seed that a great nation ( of Christians) is made.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
