DOK,

Do you remember asking this question? And here you are judging other people????????

Why are you contradicting yourself and playing games?

How old are you?

I dont think anyone actually understands me...I mean i do believe in him but i do not go around witnessing and i dont even want to join a church....will I go to hell?

Are born again?

How do you know if you are born again?

Did you ask Jesus in your heart?

Did something happen when you accepted Jesus in your heart?

Where did Jesus save you from?

Can you please answer these questions for us?

Thank you, Angels

galatians 5: 16-26 ..........this verse talks about it

1 corinthians 5 :11-13 ..... this verse tell you what to do about it

I'm curious how what you've said in this thread emulates those verses.. especially the love, gentleness and goodness parts.

I dont get it. in one post you are saying GOd is not good enough to live the right life, in another you are saying he is bad because he makes us prove we are worthy of Heaven and that he owes it to us. Now you are condeming a church?

I dont get this.

well i just had a thought. Maybe it is more about the culture rather than the race. maybe it is a bunch of people sort of joining together who all enjoy eating certain foods and doing things a certain way. And maybe it is a situation where anyone who is curious about that culture could join and participate.

But then, should this be what church is about? SHould church be a sort of thing where I say, hmmm, I really enjoy Asian culture and want to learn more about it, i think I will become part of an asian church ...OR...hmmm, I love Latino food and latino people, I think I will join a latino church ...OR...hmmm, I love the way blacks enjoy the Lord, I will join a black church. Should this sort of thing be reserved for a Intercultural club and not a church? Should a church focus mainly on just all colors and cultures worshipping the Lord together as one??????

Well I agree and I do pray that our Churches and Congregations become much more integrated, and I think this will happen over time. I think a Church should indeed focus on all people worshipping the Lord as one, and not as a cultural or a racial club.

One way to help make this happen would be for someone such as yourself to join a Church, which is made up of a majority of people, who are of a different race and culture than yourself. I think that is the first step to the ideal you mentioned, and that means we must step out of our comfort zone. It is easy for me for example to sit in my congregation (probably around 85% white, 15% African), and say well why don't more African Americans come here, we are welcoming? Much more interesting and I think Christian would be for me to join a Church that was 85% black or Latino or Asian.

But forced integration is itself a denial of the ideal you have in mind, then we are joining Churches just to achieve some sort of racial balance, instead of looking for a Church which really worships the Lord in Truth and power regardless of the racial or ethnic makeup.

It is a tough question with no easy answers, I think it will be solved when Christians come together as one people, probably not until the return of the Lord, but we can take baby steps now, we can try.

I have a few comments on this issue.

First of all, I would say that it is a myth that there are many "races." Actually, there is only one race and that is the human race. We all descended from Adam and Eve and then Noah's sons after the flood. I believe that using the term "race" itself creates divisiveness among Christians. For example, a couple where one spouse is black and the other is white is termed as interracial. However, if one spouse were white and another Asian, that term is not used. Why is that? I think it's because we look at a person of a different "race" and actually mean a different "species" of human, which is definitely not the case.

I had to make it bigger so that all can see and hopefully they will understand.

There is only one race. Thank you NHisMage!!!! :emot-highfive:

While I am "white", I have a deep love and compassion for those who are "non-white".

I love other cultures and have the most fondness for the "black" culture and people. They are so full of life!

I call a "black" man my "pop".

We are one.

Well, I also pray for our churches to be more integrated but several times I have gone to an African American church and honestly I felt like a fish out of water. It was a terrific experience for me because I could see how stiff and starchy I am and it helped me to realize that I have to loosen up and maybe that's why there are not too many blacks who want to go to 'white' churches. After that I understood better why the churches are the way they are. Hopefully, we will all overcome our problems in the long run and be more unified. After all, God has made of one blood all the nations. We just have to learn to love each other more the way He loves us.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
