The Bible doesn't say that we can't judge at all. It says we are not to judge hypocritically.

Which is what is implied in what I said.

Greetings @Sower and @Marathoner...

Reading of your testimonies started me to weeping first thing this morning. First of your courage to judge the matters you listed and second to see the Lord Yahshua standing up in you once again...as I have before...thank you.

I am not kidding you guys...I have had very similar experience's as you have listed yourselves...I find that amazing...I believe that you did well brothers!

I 'almost' felt I should not have judged him publicly. Being aware that God says my heart is deceitful and wicked, so who am I to judge the man preaching Jesus.

I think it was 2-3 yrs later my pastor confronted me. He said it turns out the evangelist was a fake, caught womanizing church members, and his testimony of  his salvation upon being investigated was also false. My friend was apologetic and encouraging.

This serves as an example of what I am referring to...you have that spiritual discernment that is telling you somethings amiss. You make the call in faith to warn the others in a sense...of a prowling wolf...if you will. This is indeed how the spiritual Body of Christ carries and strengthens its self.

The outcome of my "similar" story here...was for the most part bad. The evangelist was found to be a fraud as well...admittedly being an "itinerate minister" of any sort can be very challenging and tempting as well. I actually encountered this man a couple of years later at Home Depot...at first he did not recognize me but I recognized him.

I introduced myself and inquired as to how his ministry was going...he started muttering and simply walked away. I asked my pastor if he knew of or had any information about this man...he replied...he's backslidden...I left it at that.

The woman who looked after me when I was bedridden and dying, who gave me food to eat when I had none and clothing to wear when all I had to were filthy rags, did all of this to Him... only she didn't know it. She gave freely with no expectation of return, but what she received in return far surpassed anything this world has to give: the Lord gave me to her as a son so the rest of her days on earth were spent in peace and love. She lost her only son, so the Almighty gave her another. As for me? My mother despised and disowned me, so He gave me another mother to honor and serve.

How was she judged by her Christian family? They despised and reviled her; her children had abandoned her as did her friends. She was left to die alone in a desolate place, but she was never despised nor abandoned at any time by the Lord. He sent me to her, brother. During those days while I struggled to learn how to vocalize (speak) again, I asked the Lord to teach me righteous judgment. He loves this woman and, on account of her being placed in my care by Him, I sought to judge properly so I would be a good servant.

Something amazingly similar happened to me Marathoner...I have never suffered in the flesh as you have brother...your response to your struggle is an excellent example of the Holy Spirits strength in you...and His love for you and this woman. I am inspired...again thank you.

Because of my faith in the Lord...who asked me to walk away from my very "worldly" successful life in terms of money...possessions...wife and kids...spiritual family...everything...to move to another part of the state altogether...alone...my bio-parents and 3 out of 4 of my adult kids and countless extended family members completely rejected me...that was 20 years ago now.

I was lead to a place where I had never been...to a couple in their 60's who kids had rejected and abandoned them for their faith in and obedience to Yahshua...they became my spiritual parents. My wife and one if my daughters eventually came to where I am...knowing it was my call. Their "judgment" of me was a profoundly inspiring and edifying a major boost to my faith.

Tatwo...:)

Did we know God said Christ who is seated at the right hand of the Father didn't come to judge the world but to save it. Yeah He did not judge sinners... who are you again?

It's probably a matter of perspective here Blade...

"Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:  of sin, because they do not believe in Me;  (10)  of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more;  (11)  of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged." John 16:7-11 NKJV

Clearly the Lord Himself is saying that after he "leaves" and when the "Holy Spirit" comes...He will judge the world of sin and unbelief. Some might think of this as "judgment" of or upon the "world."

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  (16)  For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world." 1st John 2:15-16 NKJV

Here again we are instructed to "not love" the "world"...it would seem that we are to "judge the world" as to its evil existence...which we see is embodied in lust & pride.

Additionally if one is desirous to embrace "the love of the Father" within themselves...they will have to empty themselves of the "worldly baggage" for the lack of a better term in the moment...that would constitute a judgment of both oneself...and the "world" that one lives in.

Peace friend...the "Word" of judgment has come upon sin and sinners...just as the Lord said.

Tatwo...:)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
