I was curious about my 13 y.o daughter who died of anorexia 5 years ago I saw a Psychic Medium, (person was supposedly talks to the dead) personally I dont really believe this but I just wanted to see what she'd say. She did get some things right like her age, month of death, ect and said my daughters always watching over me but is a very unhappy. Since shes w/ the lord why wouldnt she be happy?

Im sorry for the loss of your dear daughter.

Those who are saved are happy with the Lord. No more pain and suffering. In His loving presence.

I realize the pain of her loss is still strong. I can understand how you want to connect with her. The Lord forbids us from consulting things of this nature. This is not what God wants.

The "psychic" is not speaking truth, instead speaking lies from the devil. Consulting a medium is forbidden by God, and isnt of the Lord. Mediums dont talk to the dead. They deal with the unclean spirits, with demons. Or just their own lies to con people. They do not speak truth from God. Do not take this persons words as truth. Please do not be decieved.

You should find your wisdom and answers from the Word of God. Mediums are forbidden in Scripture and will tell you what you want to hear or give lies and deception. Repent of this and trust the Lord and His goodness, love, and wisdom.

As the other posts have said consulting the dead is forbidden.

De 18:10 There shall not be found among you [any one] that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, [or] that useth divination, [or] an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,

De 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

De 18:12 For all that do these things [are] an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

The reason they get things right is because the demons know what happened in the life of your child.

do you know there is a chasm between the living and the dead and we cannot speak to one another according to the bible??

May you find your trust in the LORD and HIS presense in your life bringing you the peace you need till you see your daughter in heaven.

There seams to be a contradiction in your message. First you say that you don't really believe in this sort of thing and then you go on to ask why your daughter isn't happy - information given to you from the medium.

If you don't believe in this sort of thing, than you shouldn't believe any of it. God doesn't want you to be unstable or in two minds. He wants you to be confident in him and to trust him whole heartedly. Be strong in the Lord and in the Power of his Might.

As others have written, it is not your daughter that the medium is speaking to, and the report that your daughter is unhappy is a hook to get you to come back to find out why. If your daughter was happy and with the Lord there would be no reason for you to return to get further information. This medium is just really good at human nature and knows how to get you to come back to see her over and over. You really should not get caught up in this, for it will come to no good......

      You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose.       I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
