God looks at me and sees a wretch, a sinner, a worker of inequity. He cannot stand to cast His eyes on me and His Word says he hates me. Yet, for the sake of Christ, he also looks at me and sees the perfections of His dear Son. He views me as perfectly holy and righteous and sinless. We cannot reconcile the two.
