Candy: pretty much anything chocolate. Almond Joy, Choclate covered cherries (only the queen anne with clear liquid) are some of my favs.

Snacks: Salt & Vinegar chips, dill pickle chips, almost any fruits (no bananas) and NO popcorn, gross!

I animated on commercials for Willy Wonka Candy, but don't believe in garbage like that being sold or consumed. Also animated on Reese's Sticks: a little better.

I'd go with a Whole Foods chocolete bar w/o any undecipherable additives. :)

Candy? Brachs maple nut goodies or junior mints.

snack? I would have to say popcorn though I am liking celery stalks in peanut butter.

I broke from my diet when I went to the theater this weekend and had the Musketeer bites. I miss the original three musketeers with the lighter chocolate filling, this darker stuff doesn't compare.

I've actually had a fascination with Kellogg's Cracklin' Oat Bran since I was a kid, lol! My grandmother used to keep it over at her house a lot and I'd have a bowl whenever I went over there. I was over there one night and asked for a bowl and she told me that all she had was buttermilk and I sat there and had a bowl of it with buttermilk! YUCK!!!!!

I love homemade fudge and divinity WITHOUT pecans; we have several pecan trees out here, but I cannot stand the things, lol!

:)

Well, your grandmother might be rich, because I can usually afford a box of that delicious Kellogg's Cracklin' Oat Bran about once or twice a year, WHEN and IF they decide to put it on sale. Have you seen how much a box of that goes for in comparison with all the other cereals :) ? I first discovered it when still living at home with my dad, not that it was intended for me...since it was not put in the cupboards with the rest of the cereals. My dad would usually hide this particular cereal in his room somewhere :) . My brother and I became quite adept at finding all of his favorite hiding places... ;):) .

I love pecans, but it took me working in a candy and nut shop for a few years before I could actually appreciate them. One man's trash...is another women's treasure... :( .

Hi Family in Christ,

Have read what people have posted as their favourite, and we can not eat any of it, it is a nightmare for us to have, all of it.

Our favourite candy, is Him and His honey, His sweetness, that fulfills

Our favourite snack is Him and His raw, live food, that is so good, it is the savour of His life, and full of life.

Nothing beats His raw, live, fresh food, untampered, untouched by man, that He created for us to eat, to eat out of our (His) garden, wow, what a gift, and that we have an appetite for Him and what He has provided, this is truly beautiful....His beautiful veggies, His beautiful fruits and His beautiful herbs along with His love fruits...what a blessing, what an assortment, and variety and colour...the tastes of Him and He is good. His Sweet fulfilment, His Blessings and praise, amen. All this coming from a tiny seed and from his Spoken moving, living word, out of His heart....and belly wow

Hi Serenity, :) :)

I think you have quite an interesting diet going there. I would be curious to know your age and find out how often you get illnesses and how long you might live blessed with a measure of good health? I agree with you that there is probably a link to eating fresh fruits and veggies for improved health. Do you ever eat the seeds in your fruit, also? and do you permit any fish or eggs in your diet?

Since cancer cases and other certain illnesses have experienced dramatic increases in the past one hundred years, I have also wondered about the links to pesticide use, preservatives, chemical food additives, and certain food processing. I refuse to eat anything containing aspartame and recently decided to ban all products containing msg. I recently decided to cut back on consumption of foods containing nitrates and have almost completely removed splenda from our diet. I noticed while nursing my son that my consumption of splenda seemed to be irritating him. There was a period of about 1-2 days that I did not consume it, and I noticed his skin irritation subsided. I stumbled across that observation without even looking at splenda suspiciously. I also could not eat ANYTHING made from cow's milk from about the 6th week to the 7th or 8th month that I have been nursing him, since it would irritate his system pretty badly. He even had blood in his stool sometimes. He has outgrown that, but I still do not think he can handle a lot of egg whites in my diet and I think he is sensitive to nuts, so I have quit consuming them, for the time being. I have learned a lot through this process He has brought us through. Praise the Lord Jesus the Christ, for I was puzzled over what to do for our son and He has imparted us wisdom as I paid attention to our sons conditions.

Organic costs much more money in the corner of the world I occupy, but for the long run, I try to weigh the cost to our health. I have seen a list of some of the most high concentrates of pesticides. I read somewhere that if you wash and/or soak certain fruits and veggies in a solution of lemon juice and salt, diluted with water, that it will remove a lot of them from the surface. They also sell a fruit and veggie wash in most grocery stores now, but is more expensive then this homemade recipe. I have not tried the store version yet, but the lemon juice version sometimes soaks into the flavor of certain foods, especially leafy veggies.

Just for clarity, I am not implying that animal meats are forbidden in scripture for consumption. The Lord Jesus Himself fed the crowds with fish and God gave meat drained of the blood to mankind for consumption sometime shortly after Noah exited the ark. I have not received word to do otherwise. This is not to say that I think others are not likewise free to abstain from meat consumption if they are so led.

Glory be to God for all His Goodness, :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
