nebula - I am careful of what I read. A couple of years ago, I was driving home after picking up my daughter from her job. It was about 12:14 am, when we looked into the western sky and watched a piece of a comet fall from the heavens.

At first it looked like the moon was falling out of the sky. Then it broke into a large firey tail.

I wasn't in it's lie. Hopefully, no one else was, either. A little piece can cause damage. So I believe it is good to know about these happenings.

Many years ago, I saw a fireball. It sounds like what you are describing. It was a basketball sized meteorite that fell onto the earth. I saw it in Arizona. It landed in a Houston landfill. About the size of the moon in appearance and trailing fire. It didnt harm anyone. It didnt cause any harm. It was cool to see. A meteorite is not a comet.

Have big ones hit the earth before? Oh you bet! Look at Barringer Meteor Crater in Arizona for what can happen. It will happen when He allows it to.

Actually it was on the news here in our area. The control tower at The Gerald Ford airport, watched the whole thing. They recorded all the facts they saw.

Doesn't the Book of Revelations say something about flying things shooting thru the skies?

I don't need evidence to believe that it is possible. All things are possible with G-D.
