To me, freedom means being able to declare I'm a black, pansexual, pagan, communist whose had an abortion and not be prosecuted for my beliefs on life, nor my personal identify.

Freedom is a wonderful and beautiful thing - something we need to keep, and if any religion, even my own, manages to work its way into the state then the freedom of others begins to deteriorate. They have as many rights to act according to their beliefs as the rest of us.

[Note: I’m not a black pansexual pagan communist, just before anyone restricts my posting access to the “Inner forums”]

.... and some of us would fight to the death for you to be a black, pansexual, pagan, communist whose had an abortion and not be prosecuted for it..... and a lot of us would be pretty discusted with you, but that is what freedom is all about too..... and a few of us might pray for you too....... [even though that isn't what you really are]

Amen other.

Freedom isn't free... Freedom, to me.. means being in a country where I can worship God freely and have the opportunity to tell others freely without fear of much persecution. Freedom, to me, is knowing that I have loved ones overseas right now fighting that I might have my freedoms(although limited at times) of speech, press, to bear arms, and to be me. Freedom is knowing that I have a wonderful family, a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food on my plate. Freedom is being in a church where I have a wonderful pastor who is soid on love and God's Word.. uncompromising... Freedom is knowing that while he is a preaching, the police won't come in and arrest us for preaching God's Word.

Freedom is knowing that when I have children in the future, I know that one of them won't be killed or have to be hidden(denied education) because there is "overpopulation" in the country... Freedom is knowing that I have the right to vote for the man who God puts in authority over my country. Freedom is knowing that I can choose right from wrong, and pray for those that choose that which is wrong.

Freedom is knowing that as I walk across the battlefield of Gettysburg or Antietam.. I know that great blood was shed.... for my freedoms and yours. Freedom is knowing that against all odds, when we shouldn't have won, God led us to defeat Great Britain... we are free. Freedom is knowing that at one battle, slavery was turned upside down after it seemed that it would win. Freedom is knowing that although minorities have more rights and privaledges that I do at times, I know I have more rights that most outside this country... I know I dont' have to wear a viel over my head, not be allowed to speak, and be shot or beaten if I do anything out of step.

Freedom is knowing that I can choose to serve God while other choose the world...

Freedom is knowing that "men in past generations died willingly that I could be free". We truly are a free country, despite what society may try to lead us to believe. There is truly an anger when people abuse the freedom we are privaledge with. It is a privaledge to be an American. A right to those that have served. America truly is free.

I think freedom is a consumer myth.

We don't have true freedom. We did not chose when we would be born, we do not chose when we die, we do not chose who our parents are, we do not chose how smart we are, how tall we are, or how pretty or ugly we are. Death sits on all of our shoulders, so in what way are we free? Sure we can decide some minor things while on this earth, but it is more like a rat in a cage decides to go up or down around the little wheel.

In reality we are in bondage to our desires. If we want to be really free we will have to be free of our desire, to give up our own will. True freedom has nothing to do with hedonism, which is a pathetic thing. No country has ever survived that has debauched itself. Is a gold fish free in a bowl? Well if he is not try taking the goldfish out and putting him on the counter, see how he does.

Thought I would try some of that thinking out on you guys today

Being able to legally say, do and think what I want as long as I don't hurt anybody. To legally come and go as I please without restrictions.

When Freedom is exchanged for Security you deserve neither.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
