Well, I can tell you that anyone who never repented and confessed the Lord Jesus is definitely in hell if they died already.

I'm sorry, but you don't know that.

If you wish to make an issue out of this...let's not do it here. That is not what this thread is all about. If you must continue this...out of respect for the OP, start another thread.

Very wise man, uh, Man. :mgqueen:

Dear Sister Rachel

{What if he is not there?}

Oh Sister! I cry for your distress!

Dear Lord

Deliver Your Daughter Rachel from the lies of the enemy.

"Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."

In Jesus

Love, Your Joe

I think the only correct answer that can be given here has to be based on God being perfectly Just. That is his justice is always perfect.

I can only say to you in response to your question that I do not know where your father is right now...But I DO know that wherever it IS, it is perfectly RIGHT.

I cannot tell you where your father is because God has not consulted me on this issue. I do not know YOU and I do not know your Father either, so it would be impossible for me to know where your father is.

My mother was a very strong believer and when she passed God gave me a real sense of peace that she has gone to be with him. Of that I have NO doubt as God consulted me on this issue. He gave me the peace that passes all understanding, so I know that I have not lost my mother. I will see her again.

I can only share with you my own experience. I wont try to guess YOURS.

Regards,

Ben.

Frankly, I don't think anyone could find your statement very comforting in a time of uncertainty. God's justice is indeed perfect but it demands punishment for sin. God's justice says we are all guilty and deserving of His wrath. That is not good news. The good news is found in God's mercy, not His justice. That mercy is given in Christ Jesus. That is our hope and comfort. God's justice provides us no hope for reaching Heaven. That is done only through His grace and mercy.

We are not under the law, but under the Grace that Jesus gave us. You knew your father naturally, but you also knew him by his fruit. There a lot of people that will harp on one such commandment. Yes we should honor the sabbath and will build their doctrine on the sabbath only and anyone else that doesn't worship on saturday is destined for hell. Hello: read what Jesus said. You know I believe daily that we are to rest (from our trying to work things out in our own flesh)in the Lord and give him full reign of everyday. If your father had a relationship with Jesus Christ and maintained that relationship; you better believe he is in heaven!! And one day you will see him again-that is hope.

blessings,

candi

The OP is asking for assurance, because she is unsure of her father's redemption, so if some have nothing comforting to add to the thread, then I suggest they should keep their insenstive remarks to themselves. We are here to encourage our brethren.

To Rachel

With Love!

"I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me."

"O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me."

"O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit."

"Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness."

"For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

"And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved."

"LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled."

"I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication."

"What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?"

"Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper."

"Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;"

"To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever."

(Psalms 30)

Dear Lord

Please comfort Sister Rachel

In Jesus

Amen

Love, Your Joe

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
