We are living in the age of Instant Media Updates. The guy died this morning and he is already part of Encyclopedic lore. Wow...Now that's quick... The segment that he was filming when struch by the stingray was for a new animal show to be hosted by his daughter, 8 year old Bindi.

Here it is again in part, for Marnie:, and comments on Steve Irwin. MEANWHILE -- MARNIE! Wow gal, this guy has been sooooo cool. Now mind you, I am old and I love his show (someone mentioned watching him when he was younger) lol. Anyway, I heard the news this morning and was very saddened. From what I understand, his death was caused by a stingray, which got him in the heart. One report I read said he died before help could even arrive. So sad. The man had so much to offer with education of animals and wildlife in general. I pray that he was a Christian. Praying for his wife and beautiful children. For those who might not know, Art Bell's wife died after a asthma attack... Months later he married a 20 yr. old Phillipino gal he met over the internet and moved to the Phillipines. What happened to his son I wonder? The sad thing is that they are not Christian and his deceased wife practiced wicca.
