It is a minipulation.

Demons know that as we are born of sin we are sinful by nature. You do have the capacity to become evil. You have chosen the Lord Jesus. This choice makes all the difference in the world. We all have the capacity for evil, but it is our choices that define the truth of our being.

Hey God is not the author of confusion, I have spoken to demons before, when I was in witchcraft, and moreso after I got saved, Do not entertain it, if it confuses you or makes you wonder, stay away from it, because demons are decievers, wondering about it saying it was yourself will only give it room to latch on.

It depends on the demon. Sometimes you don't even know the demon is influencing you. You don't always get the 'poltergeist' experience. If you know enough what is "you", if you start feeling or desiring things or reacting in ways that are not like you - it could be a demonic influence. So you rebuke it and cast it out until it leaves! (Had to do that to myself once.)

once upon a time i was feeling attacked all the time. i could not sleep or be anywhere that was remotely dark. and then someone told me something that changed everyhting. evil is not where the Holy Spirit is. Pray out loud. touch every object in your room and ask Jesus to protect. Pray the blood of Jesus over everything out loud. Then sleep, knowing that your Creator will protect you. God has not given us a spirit of fear. He is more. He will protect us if we trust Him to. He does not abandon us when we need Him. ANd now,, I can read this without feeling afraid. Because I serve a god who will protect me and keep me. Trust Him, stay clear of evil, and rest under His wings.

Really a board is not even needed...

My father is well, we think possessed. He has always been surrounded by evil spirits; levitating beds; objects being thrown across the room; large black shaodows darker than night with red glowing eyes and evil growls; "ghosts"/mascarading demons; voices that all could hear and so on.... My mother is a very God fearing woman who got involved with a lying, manipulating man [my father], when I was a toddler the house we had was under much attack, he invited my aunt and uncle over to investigate the 'ghost'. He drew out a ouija board on a piece of paper. At that point my mother scooped me up and left the house while they went though with questioning the demon. When mom and I returned, it was said that the spirits would leave the house on December 25. At the strike of midnight on the morning of the 25... While mom held me and read to me of Christ's birth in our annual tradition... The house errupted into noise of screams, yells, a rushing wind, doors opening and slamming, window opening and shutting. There were foot stomping and growls, there were shadows of ugly creatures. Mom was praying and heard the quiet voice of God telling her to turn away and not to look... She held me close and told me the same, while staying in prayer... She felt something sharp on her neck. Then as sudden as it all began the noise and activity stopped, all was quiet. Except she had blood on her neck like a paper cut... There were fang marks and she still has a scar to this very day, two punctre marks on the back of her neck.

Did the evil really leave though? No, for whatever reason it surrounds my father like mist on a mountain top. You can feel the heavy darkness all around him. It is heavy like that lead appron you get at the dentist when having x-rays. It is draining and oppressive. I spent 20 years living with that man while mom worked on trying to change him... The things we have seen would give nightmares to the bravest of men.

Flee from anything that even resembles evil.

That is some story KittyJo. What many people think are ghosts or poltergeists are in reality demonic spirits. Those who have died are either in heaven or hell. If your Father is possessed, it is not enough to work on trying to change him. He needs deliverance. You need to find a minister with experience in casting out demons and have him pray for him. I have seen some strange things involving demon possessed people, never to the extent you described however. I have seen one howling, and another levitating slightly off the floor. I have seen someone trying to bite the pages out of a Bible while being prayed for. I was helping someone else to pray for these people, and they were eventually set free.

When a person is possessed, they have no control over their actions. The demon actually takes over and controls their behavior. It is differen't from oppression where they are simply exerting a strong influence on a person. There is hope for your Father, but it will require a minister to cast the demon out. Any Christian has the power to do this in Jesus' name, but I would advise that you find someone with experience at it because you never know what will happen.

We have no further contact with the man. It has been many, many years ago... He is violent, would put loaded gun to our heads, Russian rouleete style. He spent years of 'playing church' as a means of manipulation towards my mother, he even preached a few times. People would comment how empty and void his words were. He could twist God's word and give a con artists' smile, even fooling the minister at times. He was/is a master manipulator who could act the saint and upon return to home would be back to his abusive ol' self. Even his own family [parents/siblings] felt ill around him ... At last contact with the man he recoiled at the mention of Jesus, church or help... Some believe that to be possessed is a choice, a submission to evil. He has had many opportunities for spiritual help. He does not want it, he is violent, he will be left alone, for our safety.
