This is just pure evil. I believe that we are living in the last days, very near the Lord's return, and the devil will stop at nothing in taking as many souls to hell as possible. There is nothing taking place to acutally force anyone to blaspheme God, so if they do it on their own, they will have to pay the cost. If they speak a word against the Holy Spirit or blaspheme him, they will never have forgivneness, in this world or the world to come. It is very sad.

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit means no forgiveness, EVER? Even after repentance?

Well, that's what Jesus said.

And this is the only reference in the bible which deals with this issue, as far as I am aware, so there is no other scripture to cross-reference it with, or balance it out with.

So....better not to risk it, eh?

I think it is utterly reprehensible that people should encourage children to bring down condemnation upon themselves, which they (the victims) probably see as just a frivolous exercise or bit of fun.

This pitiful losers have no idea how to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. The word 'blasphemos' means "harm averment," and NOT ONE of them is capable of 'harming' the Holy Ghost. This is a movement of privileged, spoiled and disgruntled adolescents for the most part, who are simply throwing a temper tantrum. They have no genuine concept of what they are trying, and The Lord has broad shoulders..............

Look, during the Exodus, after God condemned them to wander in the desert for 40 years, and that all who took part in the Rebellion would die in the desert, He exempted EVERYONE UNDER 20, saying they were 'children' who 'know not their right hand from their left.....'

That's comforting to know, Leonard.

Still...shame on the people who are perpetrating this vicious and evil campaign.

It angers/shocks/saddens me in equal measure when people would seek to profane or discredit the name of the Lord who died for them - the only one in history to do so - and not realize the love He had for them that drove Him to the cross.

This challenge can be or is putting those kids who accept it into real danger, right? I mean, I couldn't take them too seriously, I guess I wasn't sure. It's not that I don't see the horror of what they're willing to do, it's just something else...dunno. Is God really going to take them seriously and wipe them off the list, so to speak, for actually blaspheming the Holy Spirit? I mean, I guess since they read the Word and know that they shouldn't do it, and go ahead and do it, then they're guilty of it already? It's a horrendous evil to call on kids, as everyone has already said, to do such a thing, when they think they're assured now that nothing will come of their words and actions. What will happen to them ten years down the road maybe and they realize what it is exactly that they've done?? They aren't saved now, and may be ok with mocking other things that they find in the Bible, and they can probably repent for that later on if they're saved, but this is for real, no? :whistling::thumbsup:

The Bible says the one sin that shall not be forgiven is blasphemeing the Holy Spirit.

Benny Hinn described Blaspehemy against the Holy Spirit as willingly chosing against the Holy Spirit, willingly denounce Him. Thus making an informed decission to go against Him.

Another question:

We know the Prophets and Jesus warns about these things to come. They warn that sin shall exceed and excel in the last days.

Should we be praying against these things?

Or

Should we be praying that as many as possible be saved?

The interesting thing is that these guys establish and admit the truth of God by seeking their own damnation.

What I mean is this; do they do this to any other faith? Their whole existence is only in the negative, they only understand how to be against something, thus that something is a very big reality for them. No, they are what are called camp followers, people who are obsessed with our Lord, yet hate Him at the same time, obsessed with Christians, yet hate them at the same time, following along behind the true army moaning and groaning yet taking our scraps. It is very sad indeed, and as butero says straight from the pits of hell. But Satan is an imitation, he has no existence accept as a twisted mirror of what is good, he can only pervert, he cannot really create anything.

But just think how easy the anti-Christ will convince people to take the mark of the Beast, when we have people now voluntarily becoming his slaves, we can really see how it will play out. I mean I bet the anti-Christ could get a good portion of our so called culture to take the mark by simply offereing free concert tickets or a new video game.

Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost?! Thats the unforgivable sin am I right? Well, I suppose that youth need to be taught more about God's love and deliverance in their hard times. I know a few people who say "Well what did God ever do for me?" And this leads to straying away from Him. Instad of asking what did he do for them, they should be asking "what can He do for me?" For I beleive that most Christians fall because they beleive they deserve better in certain situations (i.e. praying and having a family member leave). Is there any movement against this one we are discussing? Such as a Prayer Squad?

Denial or denunciation of the Holy Spirit it not blasphemy. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is specifically attributing the work of the Spirit to that of Satan.

These are just a bunch of ignorant rebellious children.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
