Is beliving in Aliens wrong?

There is most likely life on other planets - however, the question is, is this life simply cells and other types of life, or is it intelligent?

I highly doubt we'll find intelligent life anywhere else in the universe - I have no doubt we'll find life (non-intelligent) elsewhere in the universe.

Why would you be doubtful that intelligent life existed somewhere else in the universe? The universe is a big, big place.

Because it would violate the theological principle of imago dei. Being in the image of God means that we are rational, intellectual, emotional beings - it does not refer to our outer image but to our inner image. If this was elsewhere in the universe, man would no longer be significant, important, special, etc...and this affects the soteriological view of Christianity, which would in turn affect all other theological views.

Yup, that makes sense, but in answer to the OP. Is it wrong to believe in aliens.... I wouldn't think so as long as it doesn't lead you away from belief and fairh in God and His plan for salvation. Some people even think their dreams come true.

I believe there is other life in the universe. I believe God created the whole universe, and that we are not the only life in it. I believe the other worlds didn't fall, tho, that they are perfect, like we'll be one day, and are watching to see what we do. I don't believe they are some scary aliens. I also believe that once we get to heaven, we will be able to go all over the universe and visit these other worlds. This is just logical to me.

Can't remember all the Scriptures but I am pretty certain that everything that is physical, spiritual etc has been created by the Almighty. So if there is life on other planets then He did it.

I think God keeps the worlds with intelligent life far enough away that we won't be able to find them.

The evidence of so called water bodies and or flowing rivers on Mars is now being highly contested by an old theory from the 1950's becoming popular again which is known as Tectonic rifting and spreading, so they are stretch marks we see on Mars not ancient oceans dried up, in other words the planets, at least the ones with tectonic plates, grew from the inner core outward. Pangea did exist but not in the way we were or are still being taught today, the planets tectonic plates were not just joined to make one giant Island in the Ocean but the actual volumetric size of the Earth as well as other planets and moons were once smaller, so the big puzzle you see between North America, Europe and Africa, equally fit together on the Pacific side just like a big giant puzzle, only it's so large you cannot see it until you reduce the volume of the Oceans and bring the continents together spherically, joining at all sides at the same time.

The problem with this theory is that it goes against one of the basics laws of physics: matter cannot be created nor destroyed. If the Earth has grown, where did the extra mass come from? And if the oceans grew, where did the extra water come from?

The video is deceptive. You cannot see changing shape of the land masses, but the shapes do change, which you can tell if you look closely.

So I don't know who is doing this contesting.

What was committed to Timothy's trust was the word of God.

I would have to agree. If He did create other beings then He would have to revele Himself to them also. I just don't think it happened. Other planets yes life on those planets as we know it. I don't think so.
