If one hundred people did a physical death because of a false prophet, and 100 thousand are turned off of Christ because of a false prophet and die without him,  which false prophet is worse?

And lest we all forget, charismatic Benny Hinn has also reminded us that if one of our loved ones is in a casket in a funeral home awaiting the funeral service & burial, we should demand that the funeral director hold off on the funeral because our loved one will rise up out of the casket!!

Hinn even had to be severely cautioned by one, James Robison, re Hinn's excessive emphasis on his show of wealth, a million-dollar home, an extremely-expensive automobile, and more than one. Might any one know why Hinn abruptly relocated from Florida to Texas? Might be interesting.

"Roaring" & "barking"......why not quacking like ducks? And why not throw in baying at the moon for good measure? One very easily can have a very difficult time thinking this is of the Lord, and it sure can't be backed up with Holy Scripture. As soon as individuals like Hinn take their "miracle services" off the platform and into local hospices and AIDS wards - as well as into the local cemeteries(or can't their Jesus raise a dead man?!) - then we'll all take a second look. Simply twitching ears, having a lady walk across the stage & tell us how it was BEFORE we got to see her - won't wash with observers of biblical truth.

Mind you, Hinn's Ghandi-like white suits & black suits do ring a bell. But hardly a dinner-bell with respect to a spiritual feasting at the feet of the Lord Jesus.

"To the Scriptures; if they speak not according to this Word, it's because......."

Benny Hin is a jerk! He needs to be exposed as such. He is a messenger of Satan.

Brother John,

Would Jesus have called him a jerk? I don't dare act like I don't feel the same in the flesh, but is that what Jesus would say? He woud, I think, say he is a messenger of Satan!

No, Jesus probably wouldn't call him a "jerk" ....Here's how Jesus addressed those who parade around as righteous leaders:

Matthew 23: 25-29 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness. 29 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!

Matthew 23:32-33

32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers' guilt. 33 Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell?

Seems people forget just how "in your face" Jesus was when it came to fakes and charlatans.

John calls Hinn a "jerk"...I prefer "dead men's bones" myself.

I'm tired of tip-toeing around and worrying if I touch God's annointed...because this is not God's annointed.

If it were I would honor him. Maybe it's just time we call a spade a spade, folks.

There is a cult of greed. I don't mean people with a normal, average house in an average neighborhood. I don't mean people who drive a Chrysler or a Buick.

I do mean private jets, multimillion dollar mansions, diamond studded Rolox watches and wealth ad nauseum.

God may use Hinn. That's certainly possible. God can use anything and anyone He so chooses for His own sake and for the sake of the elect. However, when I hear these people on television, I tell my husband, "Honey, not him..." and he changes the channel without a single question. He trusts my judgement.

I'd rather my husband tune in for 30 minutes of Nascar racing than to listen to these people beg senior citizens struggling on social security to send more money.

I'm so disgusted with this.

Matt 5:22

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

(KJV)

You all need to think about what you are doing here. Have any of you ever gone to him via mail, e-mail, phone, or in person to ask him about all this?

Yup. Disgusted with people like that. The sad thing is that Hinn and others can so easily suck unsuspecting people in. Most of the time, their falseness is revealed. In time anyway. I can't think of his name at the moment, but there was some guy in Texas (I didn't know Benny Hinn had gone there too) who was always "praying" and sweating, using a handkerchief to wipe his brow. He would send you that very cloth if you would send in $20 or something. I figured he had to do a lot of sweating and wiping to keep up his lifestyle. The justice department had a little trouble with some of his methods and he was indicted and eventually convicted of fraud i believe.

The Bible says something about a generation being "lovers of money, not God." And it isn't good.

Do you really think people have not challenged them, or spoken to them about their practices? I am sure people bigger than me and with more influence than me certainly have. I know Hank Hanagraph at the Christian Research Institute has. A pastor of ours at any opportunity confronted, with love and knowlege of scripture certainly did. He is retired now, and I am sure he is still doing so.

My point is, I don't need to tell them how I feel. They wouldn't listen anyway. I am responsible to know the truth, and speak that truth, and do so boldly. I am not angry with these people without cause, they are not my brothers, and I am in no danger of hell fire.

Truth is key. The truth sets us free. We are meant to know that.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
