As far as Benny Hinn - I have friends that have been to his meetings and watch him on TV.

I can't say if he is real or not, but MY GOD is, and God does heal.

As far as Benny, I just don't like the man - nothing against his ministry.

Well, we don't make those kinds of judgements loosely. Please read the lengthy thread in the General Discussion area.

We can't trust our own 'feelings'. I'm sure many of Jim Jones followers had great feelings about him and his 'annointing' while they were packing up to move to a remote jungle with him.

We have to judge by the WORD OF GOD - the authority. We have to test the things he is saying to see if they line up with God's word. Simple.

Would audio clips of Benny Hinn making false prophesies make you think again? If yes, go to the other thread pleas.

Now here's a valuable piece of useless information, talking of the Red Sea.

There were 2 to 3 million people in the exodus and they had to cross the sea in one night. If they went in say double file, the line would be 800 miles long and would require 35 days and nights to get through. So,there had to be a space 3 miles wide so that they could walk 5,000 abreast to get over in one night.

Dont ask me who figured that out, but when you come to think about it 2 to 3 million is a lot of people.

I am wondering about the validity of Benny Hinn/ healing...is what we see on his televised services authentic? I get suspicious when I see the elaborate gold-like sets and backgrounds in the TV studios. I am new at this chat room thing so please have patience. I know Satan would like me to doubt. Would appreciate any input any one out there may have on Benny Hinn. Thanks.

Benny Hinn teaches that Jesus would have sinned if it had not been for the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost). This is a false teaching from Benny Hinn, because John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit from birth, and yet John the Baptist was not without sin. Jesus was anointed with the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) at the age of 30, what about the 30 years before that? Jesus was without sin before the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) came upon Him, and to teach that Jesus would have sinned without the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is to say Jesus was not truly God in the flesh. Jesus was true God and true man. Jesus would have not sinned if the Holy Spirit had not been there, and Benny Hinn is a false teacher to say that Jesus would have sinned.

Benny Hinn quotes on Jesus becoming the nature of Satan: "He [Jesus] who is righteous by choice said, 'The only way I can stop sin is by Me becoming it. I can't just stop it by letting it touch Me; I and it must become one.' Hear this! He who is the nature of God became the nature of Satan where He became sin!" (Benny Hinn, TBN, December 1, 1990)..."Ladies and gentlemen, the serpent is a symbol of Satan. Jesus Christ knew the only way he would stop Satan was by becoming one in nature with him. You say, What did you say? What blasphemy is this? No, you hear this! He did not take my sin; He became my sin. Sin is the nature of hell. Sin is what made Satan. It was sin that made Satan. Jesus said, "I'll be sin! I'll go to the lowest place! I'll go to the origin of it! I won't just take part in it, I'll be the totality of it!" When Jesus became sin, sir, He took it from A to Z and said, "No more!" Think about this: He became flesh, that flesh might become like Him. He became death, so dying man can live. He became sin, so sinners can be righteous in Him. He became one with the nature of Satan, so all those who had the nature of Satan can partake of the nature of God." (Benny Hinn TBN December 15, 1990).

These are false teachings of Benny Hinn concerning Jesus on the cross and Jesus becoming the nature of Satan. Jesus was our sin sacrifice, Jesus did not become literal sin, that would make Jesus a sinner, and that would make Jesus a blemished lamb unworthy to give His life for a sacrifice for sins (John 1:29 & 1 Peter 1:18-19). Christians are not without sin here on earth, Christians still sin even after being born again, but when Christians are transformed into the spiritual body then they will be without sin (1 Corinthians 15:40-52 & Romans 7:14-25). To teach Jesus became literally sin, that Jesus took on the nature of Satan is heresy, and shows Benny Hinn is a false teacher. That makes the Holy One of God a sinner, blemished, and that Jesus would have then needed a Savior Himself. These are false teachings from Benny Hinn according to what the Bible teaches.

Benny Hinn quotes on Christians being little Gods/ gods: "When you say, 'I am a Christian, you are saying, 'I am mashiach' in the Hebrew. I am a little messiah walking on earth, in other words That is a shocking revelation.... May I say it like this? You are a little god on earth running around." (Benny Hinn Praise-a-thon TBN November 6, 1990)..."Christians are "Little Messiah's and "little gods" on the earth. Thus [Encouraging the audience]...say "I am a God-man....This spirit-man within me is a God-man..." say "I'm born of heaven-a God-man. I'm a God man. I am a sample of Jesus. I'm a super being. Say it! Say it! Who's a super being? "I walk in the realm of the supernatural." Say it!...You want to prosper? Money will be falling on you from left, right and centre. God will begin to prosper you, for money always follows righteousness....Say after me, "everything I ever want is in me already." (Benny Hinn, TBN, 1990)..."If you say, I am, your saying you're a part of him, right? Is he God? Are you his offspring? Are you his children? Then you're not human!" (Benny Hinn, Our position in Christ, #2 1990, audio side 2)..."Let's say, I am a God man.' This spirit man within me is a God-Man. I'm a God-Man." These quotes from Benny Hinn teach that Christians are little Gods/ gods. The word Christian means Christ-like, Christians are far from being the same as Jesus. Benny Hinn again is teaching heresy concerning Jesus and Christians, because only God is God. When someone receives Jesus they still are human, they are not sinless, not all-powerful, not all knowing, still mortals here on earth. Benny Hinn teachings here are false. For Benny Hinn to say that "I am, I am, I am, I am, I am" is truly heresy according to the Bible because only God is the "I am (I AM)." (Isaiah 43:10)

These quotes from Benny Hinn prove clearly that Benny Hinn is not a true teacher of God, but that he is false teacher. For Benny Hinn to be a true teacher he would have to have his teachings line up with what the Bible teaches, but Benny Hinn is not a true teacher of God because what he teaches is not what the Bible teaches. There will be some who will say we hate Benny Hinn and some will email us saying do not touch God's anointed, and some will say that God is going to judge us. We do not hate Benny Hinn, and we have not touched Benny Hinn, because when the Bible says do not touch God's anointed that means do not kill him, and it does not mean that we cannot examine what someone teaches. It is true that we will be judged, because all mankind will be judged for what they have done. We believe many have been misled by what Benny Hinn teaches and that is why we have put this information here. If you believe we are wrong about what we have shared you are welcome to let us know where we are wrong from the Bible. One who is a true prophet of God teaches things that line up with what God has given, and Benny Hinn's teachings prove that he is not a true prophet of God but that he is a false prophet.

Rev. Hinn puts great emphasis on this idea of a spirit-man in the Believer. Here, he indicates that this occurs when we are born-again. If we receive a new Spirit man, then we are not really "born again" at all. It is rather a paranormal transformation. Benny Hinn says,

"When you were born again God gave you this brand new being, this brand new being was created before the foundation of the World. Ephesians one declares that God literally chose us before the foundation of the world and there it talks about our spirit-man... Your spirit, ladies and gentlemen, is God-like; he's God-like in every way...The second this spirit-man comes into our being -- pops into our bodies -- we're born again. He's spirit; what born of spirit is spirit. Say after me, within me is a God-man. Say it again, within me is a God-man. Now let's say even better than that, let's say, I am a God-man. When you say I am a God-man you're not talking about your flesh or your soul; you're talking about your spirit-man." "Now, remember, everything Jesus did, He did so we can receive the opposite! What He gave up, He was saying, 'You are to receive what I gave up!' Now it's like this: I have His name on earth! Isn't that right? What is it to have the name of Jesus? It means to have His office!... Paul the apostle said that Jesus is standing before the throne as the Son of Man. He called Him the "Man-Christ!" Now, you ready for some real revelation knowledge? Okay, now watch this. He laid aside His divine form, Now these are the seven steps from the glory to the cross. He laid aside His divine form! Why? so one day I would be clothed on with the divine form!"

This teaching appears to be so new as to leave one wondering where it came from. Read carefully, he is saying that when we are "born again", a spirit-man separate from ourselves, that God created before the foundation of the world, "pops into our body." Instead of the Holy Spirit renewing our human spirit and uniting us into the body of Christ, we are said by him to receive this extra-terrestrial spirit-man that takes over our inner spirit. The use of the word extra-terrestrial is mine, but I think that's exactly what we are dealing with. The possibility of demon-activity is very real when you begin to suggest an extra spirit activity apart from the Holy Ghost.
