I have heard many times a Word from God come from the mouth of Benny Hinn... I have also heard him speak things that I don't think lines up with God's Word. The same is with all of us.. we all fail at times to speak and as we should!

The point that I'm trying to make is that... I will not judge Benny Hinn because I prefer not to be judged myself. I leave that in God's hands. He is the judge!

Then you are not qualified to defend him, for with your own words you condemn him, "I have also heard him speak things that I don't think lines up with God's Word."

I suggest that you carefully, yea fearfully, watch who you defend and endorse, for you will be judge.

Peace

Blindseeker said "I suggest that you carefully, yea fearfully, watch who you defend and endorse, for you will be judge."

Who will God judge more severely? The man who defends another man(in good faith) against a 'would be' judge? Or the man who has set himself up as judge? After all, God is the only 'judge' we answer to in the end. I would suggest it's the latter. But I don't presume to be qualified enough, nor am I as comfortable as you appear to be, in  judging another man so we'll leave it to God.

Then you agree you will be judged severly? OK, I guess we settled that. That was easy.

Blindseeker... You are very quick to defend your own opinion and also very quick to use scripture to twist it to say what you want it to for the situation you are using it for!

Bro.. God is looking for people to fill with His Spirit that will speak HIS WORDS.. not just spout out scriptures to try and manipulate a conversaion.. there is no power in quoting scriptures just to try and make YOUR point!

God is the judge of all of us.. even Benny Hinn!

That's what I've been saying the whole time.

Now.. If God has given you the discernment on Benny's ministry and has shown you that it is false...By all means you should go directly to that man (Benny) and rebuke Him. Not go and tell others until you first go to Him.. "He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour

than he that flattereth with the tongue." (Proverbs 28:23) Isn't that the bible verse you quoted earlier?

All I want to say is even a babe in  Christ who has a bible in his lap, and prayerfully studies that Word against what Mr Hinn proclaims, will be able to discern a false prophet!

Just watch the guy.....and listen....and then be noble like the Bereans.

There's too much of this talk about the scriptures having no power, that the power comes from the

spirit.  How in the world are we to know if the Spirit is of God if we don't have the written Word to judge it by????

We are taught by the Holy Spirit when studying the Word. That is the way to find out if things are from God.

We are given the written Word so we may be able to judge what is false and what is true! Understanding comes from being indwelt by the Holy Spirit and by obeying 2Tim2:15.

I don't understand why anyone is debating against judging an evangelist's words against the Word of G-d.  Blindseeker has already pointed to scripture which tells us to do so.  I could be wrong, but it seems to me Blindseeker is comparing the words of Hinn to the Word of G-d and not his own personal bias.  If you go to angels4u and my last post on this subject you will clearly see  where Hinn has not only negated scripture and passed on false teaching, but made blatant lies about him self.  Also, as I have said, if he truly has renounced his New Age/ Kaballistic teachings and only speaks truth, then there is no problem with him.  All in all be delligent and careful, if you like him and listen to him, just ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment and see if his teaching lines up with the Word.  G-d bless you in your growth.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
