Job kept on believing in God and kept leaning on Him. Despite all that was taken away from him. From land and family. He kept true to the faith!

Yes imagine the strength of Job's heart after the final communication of our Lord Himself! If we are willing to go where he did then we too

can be internalized with this usable strength to show others God in us!

The latter epistles of John 'IS' a good armor to where entering into those types of trials as John the disciple whom Jesus loved knew

experientially what it was to pass through great suffering (as he was boiled in liquid and survived) and continued service till natural death.

Welcome to Worthy by the way youngen! Love, Steven

I recall some important scriptural significance in the book of James. James 1:5 shares much about how we are to pray, and how to believe fully that God will hear our prayers. Yes, so very true, as it goes on to share that a person that prays without faith is lost like a tide. I sigh for the Christians that pray with half of their heart, half of their desire to reach out to God.

I believe that this is part of a demonstration of our faith being strong. Seek the will of God, and pray with all your might. You better also believe that God is listening to those prayers of yours, as He loves you. The answer is not always "yes", but we praise Him the same.

My faith is strong enough to die for Him. Yes I can say that, and I have days of weakness when I wonder if I would cower for a moment like Peter's denial.

I believe that our witness, our 24/7 walk, and our desire to know God's word and will greater is the most significant part of our Strength in faith. Just my meager answer, but also sharing a verse that has probably not been ellaborrated upon. Blessings to you all.....

With all of this I add this too, (BTW, one of my favorite books of the bible is "Ephesians") Eph 1: 17 in part, " The Spirit will make you wise and let you understand what it means to know God" Eph 1:19-20 " I want you to know about the great and mighty power that God has for us followers. It is the same wonderful power he used when he raised Christ from death and let him sit at His right side in heaven " Eph 2:4-6 and Paul repeats again " God loved us so much that he made us alive with Christ, and Gods wonderful kindness is what saves you. God raised us from death to life with Christ Jesus, and he has given us a place besides Christ in heaven " and then 3:6 " And the mystery is this: Because of Christ Jesus, the Good News has been given the Gentiles a share in the promises that God gave to the Jews. God has also let the Gentiles be a part of the same body " So only by the Holy Spirit of God, our Father, in who Jesus Christ was given us, can we even think to love Him, or to even want to obey him. Praise the Father God and Jesus Christ that we Gentiles have that blessing as well. :happyhappy:

On the subject of faith, I was taught a view on faith that I have never seen since, which is to say not many say it.

"faith is believing God will perform His Word for me, everytime and in every circumstance, when I act on His Word in faith. Knowing that God has placed His Word above His name and knowing that God cannot lie Is a huge assurance. God sees that His Word perform as He intended. That is why He can say as in 2 Cor 1:20, "the promises of God in Him are yes and in Him amen".

Job never lost his faith in God, even under the most heartbreaking circumstances that tested him to his core. It’s hard to imagine losing everything we own in one day—property, possessions, and even children. Most men would sink into depression and even become suicidal after such a nightmare; however, Job never wavered in his understanding that God was still in control. Job’s three friends, on the other hand, instead of comforting him, gave him bad advice and even accused him of committing sins so grievous that God was punishing him by making his life miserable. Job knew God well enough to know that He did not work that way; in fact, he had such an intimate, personal relationship with Him that he was able to make the statement, "Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face” (

Job 13:15).

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

Ef : 6:10

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

God is so good!

And by faith we will reach our heavenly home:)

I'm satisfied with just a cottage below

A little silver and a little gold

But in that city where the ransomed will shine

I want a gold one that's silver lined

I’ve got a mansion just over the hilltop

In that bright land where we'll never grow old

And some day yonder we will never more wander

But walk on streets that are purest gold

Don't think me poor or deserted or lonely

I'm not discouraged I’m heaven bound

I'm but a pilgrim in search of the city

I want a mansion, a harp and a crown!

Thank you Jesus:)

1 In the land of Uz there lived a man whose name was Job. This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil. 2 He had seven sons and three daughters, 3 and he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys, and had a large number of servants. He was the greatest man among all the people of the East.

4 His sons used to take turns holding feasts in their homes, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them. 5 When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would send and have them purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking, "Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts." This was Job's regular custom.

Job's First Test

6 One day the angels [a] came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. 7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?"

Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."

8 Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil."

9 "Does Job fear God for nothing?" Satan replied. 10 "Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face."

12 The LORD said to Satan, "Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger."

Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.

13 One day when Job's sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother's house, 14 a messenger came to Job and said, "The oxen were plowing and the donkeys were grazing nearby, 15 and the Sabeans attacked and carried them off. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"

16 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, "The fire of God fell from the sky and burned up the sheep and the servants, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"

17 While he was still speaking, another messenger came and said, "The Chaldeans formed three raiding parties and swept down on your camels and carried them off. They put the servants to the sword, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"

18 While he was still speaking, yet another messenger came and said, "Your sons and daughters were feasting and drinking wine at the oldest brother's house, 19 when suddenly a mighty wind swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on them and they are dead, and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!"

20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:

"Naked I came from my mother's womb,

and naked I will depart. [c]

The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;

may the name of the LORD be praised."

22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

Most of us know what is it to have friends we even call them best friends, but what do you do when you got in trouble like you could lose your job, get sick, what if you lose everything you have?

The enemy loves to test us and see if our faith in God is real even if we lose everything.

Satan thought Jobs faith would not be strong enough to stand the test if he could send them trouble.

The enemy is very real and he loves to test us too.

He even told God he noticed how good and upright Job was and he told God that it problaly wouldn't last if God would take eveything away from him.

Satan thinks its easy for a Christian to love God when everything is going good in their life but he doesnt think it will last if we lose our health or belongings or anything we care of.

I read this sentence that Adversity destroys superficial faith and thats a fact, but adversity for born again Christians strenghten our faith ,knowing who's in controle. How much do we trust that He will work everything thing out for good to them that love Him?

How much faith do you and I have ,would we stand the test?

Can you think of circumstances when it was difficult to keep trusting God?

My faith is strong enough to end this age.
