Oh dear, is it time to attack?

I have never said that I pray for everything I do, but we must be able to give thanksgiving in all we do,can you ask the Lord to bless your cards??

No one attacked you Angels. We just don't share your convictions and so far, I have seen only kind and gentle responses. Regarding whether or not there will be cards in heaven, I doubt it as I doubt there will be many things, such as computers and electronic communication such as worthy boards. We'll have no need for those things but that isn't a valid arguement against enjoying them in this world. Once again, if we aren't convicted as individuals by the Holy Spirit and it doesn't affect our testimony or our relationship with the Father...no harm.

I remember my daughter used to date a guy from a very conservative college. They couldn't go to movies, couldn't go to dances, couldn't play cards. All these were "sins". So what happened? He abused my daughter, using Biblical verses to convince her of how it was okay.

Angels, I agree with you on not reading the horoscope. I do believe that to be of Satan. It is not a joke or game. If you were talking about tarot cards I would agree with you on those. Satan has taken almost everything and tried to make them into his own by twisting them with lies. I believe the tarot cards are a Satanic perversion of our deck of cards. I would not play with the Quija board either. These are purely Satanic things.

I like to play canasta, rummy and all kinds of card games. I like to play 42 although that is played with dominoes. I just like games period. As long as I am not choosing them over the Lord there is no harm in playing games. IMHO
