Don't get huffy on me Axx, I was just surprised............your first statement was very............bold and outspoken, and then going to they usually run the other way when they find our your beliefs. I'm not asking you, nor do I think you should hide anything. But, people have to be approached as people first, not their sin. Not trying to start a fight........really!

Datan, I can see you have a very strong belief on this issue. I can sympathise with the argument you are making. However, I must disagree. Being born a certain race cannot be changed. Being born with a certain sexual preference may not be able to be changed, but you can stop yourself from engaging in the act of sex. It is the act that is the sin, not the state of simply being. Being asian is not the same as being gay, because there is no defining characteristic that sets an Asian apart.

Biblically speaking, the act of homosexuality is the same as the act of watching pornography, or adultery. Just because a homosexual has urges towards others of same sex does not mean that they should be acted on. Should someone who has an urge to have sex with a 10-year old act on that urge simply because that's what they feel (they might feel they were born that way). Now, I'm not trying to say that homosexuality is exactly the same as pedophilia, because naturally pedophilia involves the exploitation of a young person while homosexuality is between two consenting adults. However, I'm focusing on the urges of the individual. If a pedophile has urges towards a child, that does not make it right, anymore than two men or women having urges towards each other.

It comes down to how much you care about God. Do you want to follow God and follow his commands? Or do you want to ignore God and follow what the world says. In all things though, homosexuality is just another sin, like many others. It's not the "big evil" that some claim it to be, stealing a packet of chewing gum is the same. Talking back to your parents is the same. Pre-marital heterosexual sex is the same. They are all ways that we can fall short of the glory of God.

Axxman - I'm afraid I must inform you of your unloving way of communicating about gays. It shows your complete intolerance of gays in particular, not just of sin in general. If you have such a problem with gay people that you would slander their name all around town to run them out of business, why not do the same for other shops where people are not Christians?? Why not stand outside a porn-shop and loudly declaim what's happening in there? Why not set up protests outside Wicca shops (or even Borders or Barnes and Noble in their "Spirituality" section).

Why would you even dare consider shooting off at homosexuals, when you are just as sinful as they are.

NO!! I wouldn't shop at their store if they were stupid enough to advertise their sexual perversions to customers. Then I would spread the word about their perverted lifestyle in hopes of damaging their business and hopefully put them out of business.

Talking to gays isn't an issue...I just won't financially support their lifestyle. The hard part about talking to homosexuals is trying to keep them around once they find out I'm a Christian.

Have fun finding a decorator then.

LOL...I know you are far too liberal to assume that ALL decorators are homosexuals.

No, just most of the decent ones. Actually, there are some heterosexual men and women who are good decorators (my mother was Interior Designer for 20 years), but just about all the good home accessorizers are gay.

what we have here is a difference in understanding the emotions behind the actions. For instance datan you are talkin about prejudice. And some of us here are bordering on prjudice which is sin and using scripture to rationalize their feelings. And some are both! Some are purely scriptually which is dry and some are scripturally soaked with the Holy SpiritI use to meet a friend of mine whom is gay...wonderful man...sensitive.,caring would do anything for me..I Love him. I use to tease him about we should me getting married. mentioning to me one day that he got along with me better than anyone he ever met. Now he is dying of cancer of the liver But he said when he was with me he felt such love. It was the Love of Jesus. I did not feel it. He thought he was gay because his feminine side was more dominate than his masculine side. He was so ostrisized throughout school..by his family ..I cannot imagine being rejected for being the human that I was made to be. When I explained the feminine side of God it put things into perspective. He got saved... He will not let me see him and is dying. wants me to remeber him the way he was. The last time I saw him i teased that we should've gotten married, as a nurse i would have been able to take care of him...We laughed about it I miss him soo

I was just wondering about Christians opinions on Gays.

If two Gays ran a shop should we patronise it?

How should we talk to Gays?

Well what kind of shop are they open for bussiness for?

How do you know they are gay? How did you find out?

Does their shop advertise that they are gay run business or open for the general public?

Examine yourself your ideas about the Bible tells you should do?

Gay bashing will not bring them to Christ, love will.

How do you want people to treat you?

Show respect to other and you gain their trust. Gain their trust they will resepect your love for Christ and at least think about change. Change first happens in the mind. Its not an overnight thing its a process.

There are no easy answers but you must first remove the speack from your own eye before judging others.

why do you try to single out one type of person because of their life style?

Do you still consider people of ethnic backgrounds sinnners still too?

This should not be a gay issue. It should be about how do respect others with defferent beliefs and values.

IF they are openingly sinning and they refuse to hear God's word and what you want to share about it than need to repect them and leave them alone because God will be the Judge of their character not you. Besides you already know what your opinon is on this and you should pray about it and follow what God is telling you do.

How will you treat them when they do repent of their ways and follow God according to the Bible?
