You know what I like most about these boards? We are a family. Yes we do have our differences and sometimes we do squabble but I truly believe everyone here would do what they could for a member of this family if the need arose. Bloodbought you said it well my brother. Peace to all my sisters and brothers in Christ.

Fellow Saints,

All Praise, Honor, and Glory be unto the Lamb of God. To be all of it, I am but a tiny vessel in HIS Giant Kingdom. I had just felt led to give us all a reminder about what is the focus and what is not, AMEN to all this wonderful posts.

There are issues that we may not agree on even after, but slammings a group and calling them of being of the devil.  Thats just plain rude and ignorant.

Hi BSS,

I agree, but can I offer a suggestion. When you see a brother or sister doing such a thing why not rebuke them in love. I believe it is called exhortation in the Bible. Now this should be done in such a way that the one in error sees the love in you, while you rebuke them...maybe not see it immediatley!!

I recently happened onto a thread in Israel/Palestine...Groundhogs... There was particular venom directed at one brother and I pointed out to the offender his sin. It so happened the offender humbled himself... and edited the words he used. This was a great outcome for the offending brother.... the offended and this board.

If you have a gift in this area, YHWH may be calling you to use it.

Blessings

One note: When someone's been posting here for a very long time and made many posts and knows a lot of history behind things, it's hard for a new member to comprehend things sometimes. They don't have the "history".

Recently I was challenged by someone who misunderstood my intentions since they were new here and didn't comprehend the full dynamics of a situation.

I know people mean well but for those who've been here quite awhile, we're all too familiar with some people who have longstanding problems or who have "issues" and we have to deal with them lovingly and firmly.

We have very nice people...believers in Christ....who mean well but they, in all sincerity, don't realize that what they affirm as correct and right doctrine is poison.

Sometimes they're caught in the web of sensationalism - they've become like the "National Inquirer" and they follow every single conspiracy theory out there...and they buy into those theories hook, line and sinker.

They buy into the fear and panic these theories create in the minds of the naive who believe everything they read.

They lack discernment; they've reduced their level of discernment to trusting in what someone says or claims to have witnessed in their latest "book". ...

Some very nice Christians actually buy into the belief that Christians should take the whole family and join nudist camps. Yes, that's right...I said it. It's not a typo. Nudist Camps...

We have people who actually report that they have attended services in the buff and received Holy Communion in like manner and so on. They were sincere and believed it was right and holy in God's sight and truly believed it. *(Or they talked themselves into believing it).

Fringe Groups:

We have people on the lunatic fringe. These are dear brothers and sisters; people we can say we love and care for as friends. People who are believers, too.

But they're also extremely unbalanced.

We need to come to a place where we don't walk on egg shells and be fearful that we are to censor everything we say because it might "offend" someone.

I don't desire to offend...I know that in one instance Russell thought I was being hard on someone but he's new and didn't know the history.

Moderators should look at the history too and ask privately why we're beign so firm with someone.

In one particular case, I had been continually indundated for months with militia and antigovernment materials - which i was already familiar with because I was once involved in that "fringe" movement myself.

I've been on the fringe and thanks be to God, I am delivered into His Hand and His care and protection.

It's easy to get caught up in these fringe groups that teach all kinds of error.

Gary and Patsy also know how this works. It's easy for even established believers to get caught upin these groups.

Now, whether one is offended or not, we are compelled to stand up and say "Stop! No More!" because what people are spreading is as deadly as cancer.

I hope this helps heal and bring about better understanding. If we allow people to perpetuate too much of this fringe thinking, we end up with people like my own younger sister, who died by committing suicide.

I don't want to offend anyone but there are times when it is imperative that we step up to the plate and "tell it like it is" as loving as we can but with real authority. We can't always worry if we're being politically correct. There are those times when we must call a spade a spade.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
