Well said Greg. I would also include that we should seek the leading of the Holy Spirit. Too many times Christians jump ahead to the Lord, in all good intentions. I, for one, have, in the past, boldly gone up to a sinner that was on my heart, swallowed hard and spurted out that they needed Jesus in their lives and that they should repent and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. Well, it really went bad ... they did not accept Jesus and did not consider me worthy to talk to in the future. If I had the leading of the Spirit, things would of gone right. Pray before making the move, if they have not asked by witnessing your walk.

There is a time for everything ... the Lords time!

its guilty if you do not testify i know when ever i get the chance to share i do as i do not want to see my loved one or those close to me going to hell as hell is real and its one of satans tricks to get us feeling guilty when the truth is right in front of us

it took me time and i have no shame in proclaiming the gospal to the lost as when you get a taste of what hell is it is then you wil not stop testifying

dont worry what people might say to you as by you sharing you have planted a seed and that seed will grow and some one else will harvest what you planted

if you are feeling guilty ask the holy spirit to help you deal with this to wear you can be at peace with in your self do not let this eat at you

read matthew 16 read from verse 19 parable of the rich man to verse 31

i did this i was told before i read this verse ask the holy spirit to open your eyes to the truth of his word as he is there to guide us and help us

some might have a diffrent oppinion on this to what i have given you to look at

what works for me wil not work for you so you need to go at this in your own pace not at something you might have heard

did you hear this at a church service to the question you are asking hear ?

Bhakthi: If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? If it is dangerous for Christians there, then by all means be cautious about who you testify to, but you might secretly leave a gospel tract or two in public places, might you not?

Leonard, I live in Dallas Texas,Thanks for asking.Mighty is the Lord in this area.Jesus is Lord in Dallas as the Father has given him all authority in heaven and on earth. He is the heir of the world as you know.I attract atleast 20 people a day to the website I started to spread the Gospel. But I had to quit my job to do this. There are lots of oportunities in this area.Told 500 juvelies in the prison about God's love and forgiveness.Thank God and give him all glory.

But fools' reproaches are everywhere. You know !

Sounds to me as if you are definately spreading the message of Gods Love and plan for eternity!!! Awesome!!!! :24::24::thumbsup:

" From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." Luke;12;48

"That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows."Luke;12

What good is our words if our lives don't reflect what we have to say?

I think that initially our actions often speak much louder than any words.

I have heard pople bringing up many excuses fot not testifying .People who are too shy cant' do this job.

"I tell you, whoever acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God. 9But he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God. "12;9

The very least I can do is wear a Christian t-shirt when I'm out in public. I like this one shirt I have that features a picture of Jesus' hand nailed to the cross and the phrase "Body piercing saved my life." A tip regarding that: don't look at any person who's reading the shirt or they'll stop reading it.

Also, when I used to go to different secular forums, if forum policy permitted it, I would either have the plan of salvation or a link to an online Gospel tract in my signature.

I agree with afal back there...some of my rewarding witnessing has been those who inquired about what they see in me or about me. Once I was invited to a new age gathering because of the 'LIGHT' two people saw in me. I was just eating alone in a resturant...after assisting a older woman to her car after it had snowed...Although I did not take them up on the invite I explained to them what they were seeing and about Jesus and the Salvation message.. They both got saved. I remained friends until we relocated.

I am sure The Blood of Jesus makes the devil very disturbed. And it reminds me of the song..."There is Power Power womder working power in the blood of the Lamb ."How true! That song is really like celebrating the Lord's victory on the cross.

Now Thank the Lord Jesus for bruising satan's head on the cross.

"The God of peace will crush satan under your feet shortly.'Romans;16;20

It is the BLOOD VS THE ACCUSER ! It is the power of the BLOOD that deals with the accuser !

And nothing else works more effectively. And let the Blood do its work.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
