whats the matter no formal come back to what i left you i am going to be puting my self so i can understand greek and hebrew since people seem to feel comfterbal with those that are educated also i am going to have to work a second job just to meet the fees that are expected but to me that peace of paper and what i am going to spend on fees means not a thing to me

i study i read gods word every day i learn also from those that are educated as i have one respect i have even sevral educated people backing me up once my citazen ship is aproved to the live in the philippines so much for some one like my self who is very ilitterate yet when god impacted my life to the point wear i submitted my self to those around me and i alowed my self to be taught by the very smartest that came out of bible collage i soon began to do as christ taught his disciples

i am also reading up on greek and hebrew now but their is so much a person on his own can take in and to even learn the old symbals and what they mean

when i share i tread in fear and in caution so i do not place judgment on my own head as people who lead and teach and preach are judged very harshly by god him self

when i got asked to help my partner and i was even told i wil be ordained and raised from with in i at first said let me think about it as too be honest exrock star i did not want the burden that is placed on those that are called to lead and preach and teach gods people

my pastor who took over this church was just like me i got my leaders and my pastor to pray with sevral others as wel and i was told that this is the path god wants me on

what gets up my nose is the smart aleck comments left with out even seeing or respecting that a person typing away in cyber space has feelings as wel and should have a say in how they share on a topic with out hearing every one is an expert it realy just shows me what sort of person you are and how narrow minded your posts you leave are

tel me something how many people have you been able to lead and say the sinners prayer and then have them under your wing and mentor them and encourage them to walk and learn how to use their god given gifts

when i do get approved to live in the philppines and apply for bible collage i am going to have to push my self to just meet the needs asked of a bibl collage student then i am going to have to force my self to study and make sure when i do essays i am doing as asked by my teachers

i have help and i am glad for the help i am getting

so much for what christ passed on to his disciples its as if now you have to under stand greek and hebrew just to be heard

what a joke no wonder i responded to some one like my self but hay i am with in no rights to judge but alow the holy spirit to brodden my mind

and at the end when i get that worthless peace of paper i am stil going to be me but a little more advanced yet its not going to stop me from sitting on a gutter and sharing the word or walking into a run down building and sitting on a dirty floor talking to a home less man

as i know wear i came from and i have never forgotten that and alowed pride to get in the way

thanks exrock star i found what you have had to say worthless

but i am not angry at you i am with in no right to be angry as this is just a forum wear people share their thoughts

peace from damo

not a problem my friend. i wish you luck in your journey. :36:

Even though I have nothing against educated people, I'll prefer the Holy Spirit to teach me.

Holy Spirit enlightens.

If you have a great attitude and beautiful smile then how is He going to enlighten you?

thats why education makes a difference.

He teaches me the Word of God. Does He teach you also?

I think that a pastor should have a love for the Word of God. I do not think that a formal education is necessary. The best, most knowledgable pastor I know did not attend seminary. The most useless, dry, lazy, pastor I know has two Doctorite degreess. He is a wealth of worthless information, but has no love for Christ or for his bretheren. Knowledge is important, but a proper heart is much more important.

Why, hr.jr. would you trust someone who merely has a heart for it? I have a heart for medicine but have not yet been to medical school. Mind if i perform surgery on you? No? Why not? I have a heart for it. There are doctors with MD's that have left tools in patients and have fumbled the most minor of precedures, and have no love for medicine.

I think its a pastors responsibility to know everything there is to know about the subject he or she is teaching. How foolish are we to entrust our minds to someone who merely has a heart for it. Without knowledge how can we learn.

I agree their heart needs to be in the right place. Lets not deprioritize knowledge.

The problem with what you say is, surgeons do not have the Holy Spirit to guide them and counsel them.

So? So all surgeons are going to fail because they dont have your Holy Spirit there to guide them? No, they're educated. There are thousands of surgeons who don't even believe in God. I work in a hospital, and i see dozens of surgeons. The couple that i know don't believe in Christ. Yet one of them is the most respected brain surgeon, and has created a new innnovative way to perform brain surgery.

So its obvious surgeons dont need the Holy Spirit. So your point is now irrelevant.

Grace to you,

I don't necessarily believe his point is irrelevant.

I believe that you are misunderstanidng his point though.

Paul said this;

I really don't understand why you would reply this way. It's a simple question. BTW ... I see only 3 pages.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
