Detroit Muslims Want Call to Prayer

I read an article stating that the Detroit Muslims want to install loud speakers on their Mosque. So the Muslims can be reminded to pray 5 times per day.

Hamtrack, the closest city doesn't want to hear the prayer call at 6 am nor 10 pm.

Groups from both sides are willing to bring suit against each other.

If the Muslims get their way, you won't have to go to Jerusalem, to hear their call for prayer, you'll beable to hear it in your town. Providing you have a Mosque near by.

Once they start doing that, you'll have Mosques springing up on every block. They spread like gangreen and infest whole neighborhoods. The first call to prayer is actually at 4:30 am in Indonesia and most Arab countries.

Maybe they're trying to play it conservative by calling it at 6 am. They stop at 8 pm in Indonesia..so it's 4:30 am to 8 pm.

In Detroit they're saying 6 am to 10 pm. Swell. That horrible off-tune howling made me physically ill. I had to buy ear plugs to snuff out the horrible wailing on those loud PA systems.

It's extremely invasive and part of their "indoctrination" attempts to mindwash people into becoming disciples of their vile religion.

It's absolute bondage.

BTW, where is the ACLU at when you could actually use them??? If this were a Christian church wishing to do this, they'd be all over them by now!

It's not a nice service for anyone. Who wants some off key guy howling into a mike at all hours of the day and night, only to startle sleeping babes and children and disturb adults' rest.

This is the equivalent of hanging LOUD speakers outside the mosque building (not inside, folks...OUTSIDE) so all the people in their homes are able to hear it.

Sorta like an alarm clock....It's blaring so loud, it's sound is often distorted and it's always some guy who just howls the same thing over and over again...

Allah, the great..all wise and holy Allah...etc, etc. They do some song and dance like that and force it down people's throats.

If Christians tried that at all hours of the day, there'd be an outcry like nothing you'd ever believe.

Amazing...they come into a CHRISTIAN country and try to force THEIR false religion down our throats. Talk about gall!

We have anti niose laws that would have to be dealt with here. It would be interesting. I have some really good old monster speakers and 300 watt amplifiers that could play a lot of Elvis gospel music for all the Christians of central Oklahoma.

If you allow church bells then you can't really stop people having a call to prayer (although I admit I'd soon be out with my wire cutters and a large hammer if I was being woken up at 6am every day).

I think it was in Oslo that the local mosque had a long battle to be allowed to have speakers to call the faithful to prayer. When they eventually got permission the local Humanist association put speakers on their roof blaring out the message "THERE IS NO GOD"

another combatant of unruelly noise ( have used this in the barracks and housing to get others to turn their obnoxious stereo's down ) and that is BAG PIPE MUSIC....

Bagpipes playing Amazing Grace at 35 - 50 watts will overpower almost all other types of music, even at 2 and 300 watts....

something I stumbled on while in the navy, the only thing that can JAM CW ( morse code ) over the radio is bagpipe music, well, it can overpower or JAM other music....

so, we all need to get our stereos tuned up and get out our gosple pagpipes......

as for the muslims, they are the fastest growing religion in the world..... and also in the USA....... why???? cause they will accept anyone, no matter what their colour, race, national origin, legal background, the muslims do not care about who you are, if you want to join up, then they will have you....

The believers in Christ, those that are Provessing Jesus, are some of the most predjudiced people around........ every denomination feels it is the best denomination, some even believe that if you are not a member of their denomination then you are lost...... Christian people put too many demands and conditions on others that may wish to be a Christian..... we feel that a person has to clean up their act before they come to Christ, but that is not the case.....

we feel that every one ought to fit into a peticular mold.... but we are all differant...

the Christian People hold grudges, if some one has openly sinnned, they tend to be looked down upon......poor are looked down upon and patronized.... rich are held in high accord........ some of the church fellowships ( some call them the church) are nothing more then a country club for its members, and anyone wishing to join that church must have something of value (perceived money) to that country club ( church ) or they are shunned.......

now, if a church fellowship/congregation of the Christian sect, would treat people as the Muslim sect does, welcome all that they meet as equals, then maybe, just maybe the Christian sect would grow stronger..... if the Christian sect would live what they are preaching, practice what they preach, then the rest of the world would and could see what Jesus is all about.....

calling to prayer 5 times aday????? wow, wouldn't we see lots of results if only the Christians would call themselves to prayer 5 times a day....

do you know why the muslims ONLY go to prayer 5 times a day?????

cause at one point the Christians prayed 7 times a day and the Muslims thought that a bit extreem..........so they said 5 times a day would be enough.....

Christians are lucky to pray one time aday.... and maybe three or four times on sunday......

what kind of results will we see if we all pray 7 times a day????

when you rise,

at morning meal,

mid morning,

noon meal,

mid afternoon,

evening meal,

and at night......

LET US NOT LOOSE FOCUS ON WHAT REALLY MATTERS..........
