I for one, am one whom for alot of my life have been misunderstood- too skinny, too nice, my pile of stones etc .And am so very tired of being judged when others have' their own planks of wood in their eyes' and also their ' own pile of stones too'.

How does being judged affect you or not affect you- :emot-pray: .

I welcome judgement. I'm not always gracious about it, but even if it comes harshly, I know it comes from the LORD. I'd rather have chastisement than living a life that is not pleasing to the LORD.

I've never had to be judged though, I don't do anything wrong. :emot-pray::emot-pray::24:

With a heavy heart, but I try to keep in mind Romans 8:28 ... "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

At least people are talking to you ... try being ignored or treated as if you are not there ... This is a tough lesson that I battle with at times.

if i'm being judged righteously, it doesn't bother me. if i'm being judged SELF-righteously, it irks the you-know-what out of me.

ditto. I used to live with a man I wasn't married to. A lady kindly took me aside and told me that it was wrong. She pointed out to scripture to me. She prayed first, and her heart intent was right.

One bit of advice, OneLight. No one can ignore you if you're loud, opinionated and unabashedly a child of God! But, if that's too radical for you, you will not be ignored here; no matter what. :emot-pray:

I don't accept judgement other than from the ultimate judge; the Lord himself. Nor should you, Zoe-Girl; throw off the judgement of people who should be working on themselves. They are not your Creator. :emot-pray:

if its god pulling me up bring it on but if its some one on a power trip or some one playing church i lead them to this scripture passage

1 corinthians 4

3 but with me it is a very small thing that i should be judged by you or by a human court in fact i do not even judge my self

4 for i know of nothing against my self yet i am not justified by this but he who judges me is the lord

5 therefore judge nothing before the time until the lord comes who wil both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts then each ones praise wil come from god

i have some good strong men around me and i trust these men who god has put in my path they know me they have seen me grow and they have seen me when i am down and out in the dumps but when i come to them for advice or if god has something to say to me i know these dear brothers wil pull me up with the utter respect were i am not being torn down or looked down on

al due to some one who thinks they hear from god when i run into some one like this and all i am getting is a bad vibe i wil deal with this person my way and everytime i have done this the lord has come threw

this was the first verse i was led to and i have this verse high lighted

yes i use to think what people thought of me but as i drew close to god and began to alow him to have ful reign in my life it does not worry me as it would when i was a young christian heck i do not even care what others think when it comes to the tattoos that are on me and the clothes i were

i also love what paul says hear in this very verse

Colossians 4

16 so let no one judge you in food or in drink or regarding a festival or a new moon sabath

17 which are a shadow of the things to come but the substance is of christ

18 let no one cheat you of your reward taking delight in false humility and worship of angels intruding into those things which he has not seen vainly puffed up by fleshly minds

19 and not holding fast to the head from whom the body nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments grows with the increase that is from god

20 therefore if you died with christ from the basic principals of the world why as though living in the world do you subject yourselves to regulations

21 these things indeed have an apperance of wisdom in self imposed religon false humility and neglect of the body but are of no indulgence of the flesh

this is just the way i am god has done some amazing things in my life and this is were my stregth comes from and who i am today even though sometimes i can be seen as a cold hearted person but i have had to fight to get to were i am in my walk i have had to put up with some harsh ful insults and it puzzles me to how some who call them selves christians can be have like this and feel they can sit in on judgment on the very ones god draws to him self

with out looking at gods word for them selves by the grace of god i am able to love by the grace of god i am able to forgive and by the grace of god i am able to hear some one out if i was not a christian i would not put up with what i have had to put up with but such is life we live in a harsh world and twisters always come our way but god gives me the hands up when ever i depend on him and not my flesh and my old ways

god bless from damo

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
