The verse that I have always loved and identified myself with is that of...

1 Timothy 1:12 - "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;"

I also like Colossians 3:23 but this is a life verse topic.

I have a couple :thumbsup: Kinda like we all say our favorite hymn is "....." but in actuality, we only have like 42 favorites :taped:

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. 2Cr 12:9-10

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Prov 3:5-6

Phl 3:12

That the trial of your faith being much more precious than gold that perishes though it be TRIED WITH FIRE might be found unto the praise, honor and GLORY at the appearing of JESUS CHRIST....1Peter1:7.......THIS is what my daughters and I CLING to this gives us a lot of courage....In the last 2 years my 13 year old lost her right foot, I caught my husband of 20+ years with another woman and divorced him, lost a job, bought a home and now my daughter just had a surgery to TRY to save her right foot....We own our home but cannot work because Pookie is homebound BUT we LIVE by FAITH that our trials are much more precious to JESUS than anything because HE bears them with us and through them HIS GRACE is enough....We are standing right in the fire BUT we wont perish but be STRENGTHENED in GOD's GRACE and love!!!

I must say I I have to stand on all His promises as my life verses...but if I must choose...I believe it would be Psalm 23

Psalm 23

A Psalm of David.

1 The LORD is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures;

He leads me beside the still waters.

3 He restores my soul;

He leads me in the paths of righteousness

For His name

Nahum 1:7, "For the Lord is good. When trouble comes, He is a strong refuge, and He knows everyone who trusts in Him." :whistling:

2 Corinthians 10:4-5, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down all arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." :laugh:

I have always loved Philippians 4:13 - "For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Mark 4:4 - "Man shall not live by bread alone by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God."

I also love this - It is my ALL-TIME favorite:

"For the word of the Lord is right and true; He is faithful in all that He does. The Lord loves righteous and justice; the earth if full of His unfailing love." - Psalms 33:4-5

Wow, I have many :24:

A few....

I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing. John 15:5

Finally, brethren whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things which ye have both learned and recieved and heard and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. Phil 4:8-9

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Ps 119:105

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
