Good questions.

Convicted is when the Holy Spirit shows you a sin in your life that needs to be repented. For instance, one of the first things my husband was convicted about was his language. Since he gave himself to Christ he has not used foul language. For another person the Holy Spirit may convict them of gossiping. The list goes on, because we all have things in our life that need to be repented of.

To be led is to heed to urgings of the Holy Spirit. To allow God to lead us in His ways. A good place to know the heart of God is from the Bible. What did Jesus do? What example did He give us?

When Jacob was dying he gave a prophecy to each of his sons. The earthly lineage of Jesus was through Judah. In Genesis 49:9 Jacob said: "Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?" Then, in the Book of the Revelation, John wept because there was no man in heaven or earth who was able to open the Book which was held by Him who sat on the throne. Revelation 5:5 says "And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof." This, of course, refers to Jesus.

Sheep trust their shepherd. The shepherd finds them food, water, caries them if they are hurt, seeks after them when they are lost. This is how we look to Jesus. He is our shepherd and we are the ones He provides for. Jesus referred to Himself as the Good Shepherd: "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine." John 10:11-14 In these verses we see how Jesus cares for us. He isn't a hired hand who doesn't care and will run at the first sign of danger. No, He came Himself to shepherd His sheep.

convited- means having a firm belief

led- means past tense of lead

The Lion- is the symbol of Judah or God

The bible refers to people as sheep- because people are like sheep. As sheep follow one another, so do people. Almost stupid in nature.

Well, the Lion does symbolize Judah....as for the rest, let me gently lead you back to read the Bible and refresh your memory. I have to do this at times myself.

Convicted - What The Holy Spirit Does To Our Heart To Cause Us To Run And Cleave To The LORD Jesus Christ With All Our Strength And Love

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalms 139:23-24

Led - What God Does As He Tenderly Step By Step Shapes Us Into His Image

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:10

The Lion - The LORD Jesus Christ In His Glory And His Power

And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Revelation 5:5

The Sheep - We Are The Sheep Of His Pasture And Always In His Sight And Prayers Before The Throne

We Are His Flock........

Because He First Loved Us To The Uttermost

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Isaiah 53:5-6

Because Only Jesus Is The Good Shepherd

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

John 10:11

Because Only The LORD Jesus Saves

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Matthew 18:11-14

Because We Hear Only His Voice

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

I and my Father are one.

John 10:27-30

And He Intercedes For Us

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Hebrews 7:25

Because He Is LORD

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Psalms 23

Our Shepherd

For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Psalms 95:7-8

And We Are The People Of His Pasture

Be Blessed Beloved Of The KING

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

Numbers 6:24-27

Convicted: You have a very strong feeling about something either that you are supposed to do (ie, I have a conviction that I am supposed to dress like a woman) or that you are not supposed to do (I felt convicted over that show I watched last night, I wont watch it again). This strong feeling is perceived to be coming from the Holy Spirit's personal leading. Hopefully it is, but sometimes it's just what a person strongly believes (it's a personal conviction).

Led: Pretty much the same thing as it does in regular English/American. You can be led astray, you can allow the HS to lead you to read more, etc. The difference here is that Christians try to pay more attention to who or what is leading us. Are we led by the HS to do something, or was that from Satan, or was that from our past or was that something our peers led us to do or was that something from our own preferences...

Lion: Biblical Imagry, usually Judah or something having to do with royalty or Jesus. The reasons for these tend to be because the Lion is strong, the Lion is fearsome if you are another creature wandering the plains, the Lion does what is wishes, King of the Jungle, that sort of thing.

Sheep: We are called sheep because there is a big number of us (thus a flock) and we need to be told what to do by God and because we're spiritually helpless without Jesus.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
