Please stick with your assertion. No one stated that it was Gods Good and Perfect will that Paul be sick. Yet you seem to feel that if someone is not healed of an infirmity that they lack the Faith needed for their healing

Exactely! Coming out of a WOF church, this is what they teach I don't care how they spin it, in the end its what they preach.

I don't think anyone is making the assertion that God WANTS people to be sick or that sickness is a condition that God desires for any particular individual. However, it is something God is willing to use in a broken world.

The Bible never promises that each believer can walk in total health all of the time, and it certainly does not teach that God will heal EVERY Christian who prays for it.

The problem is that some churches teach that healing is part of the atonement. Thus if salvation is available to everyone because of Christ's death on the cross, then healing is too. They teach wrongly that sickeness, disease and poverty are the curse of the law. So, in their reasoning, if Jesus has redeemed us from the curse of the law, He has redeemed us from sickness, disease and poverty.

The curse of the law is spiritual death/separation from God resulting from sin.. That is what Christ redeemed us from. Poverty, sickness and disease are product of the curse of the Fall, way back in Eden, and we have NOT been redeemed from that curse.

Many of the healing teachers draw on Deut. 28 to bolster their assertion that healing is promised and the do this by taking a promise made to a nation called Israel and force it to apply to individuals. God told Israel that if they obeyed the Torah, kept the Sabbath, the Passover, the Kosher Laws, and so forth, if they did EVERYTHING written in the law, they would be blessed above all nations, they would be blessed going in and going out, they would be the head and not the tail, etc.

God was making a promise with respct to the general condition of the nation. He was not promising that there would be no sick or poor in their midst. In fact, when one reads the laws given, God makes provisions for the sick, infirmed and those who impoverished, which would be self-defeating if God was making promises that they would never get sick or be poor in the first place.

We already have our healing. we need to receive it. God is no respecter of persons.

Can I ask then, how does one receive their healing? What steps does one have to take?

I may not know your circumstances, dear, but I know that it is for us to walk in the strength of God and in the health He desires for us in order to do His will...and just plain because He's our Daddy and He loves us so much. No offense intended in that, also! Your equipped born-again spirit already has all you need, and all you need do is release it to the situation. All things in Christ Jesus already exist. Acknowledging what God has already done begins to manifest victory. We are all in the process of renewing our minds to grasp these things.:24:

Philemon 1:6

And I am praying that you will put into action the generosity that comes from your faith as you understand and experience all the good things we have in Christ.

so you are saying that she has this condition only because she lacks the faith to be healed?

:24:

For some true complete healing is only achieved in death. Something I realized many years ago.

All God tells us is we will be healed...He makes no mention of when.

In the WOF church I was in, to recieve healing you had to proclaim you were already healed. Proclaim it often and to anyone who would listen.

A member I thought I was healed died several weeks after proclaiming his healing to everyone who would listen. Makes me wonder, the poor guy was telling a lie, telling a lie that the church taught him to perpetrate too receive his healing. Saying its so doesn't make it true....

Now why does it seem that my faith is being brought into question here. I do believe in every word God says thank you. I also believe sometimes he tells us to wait. If it is not your time then I believe you can beg all you want, but if He says wait then guess what.....you're gonna wait. Don't think I don't mention it to Him a few times daily. When told to wait I shut up and keep moving. I know that I cannot force the hand of God....nor will I try.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
